Fantastic!
Not sure about the other negative reviews, but I have these plugged directly in via USB-C to my PC tower and they work flawlessly and sound fantastic. In addition, when I use spotify from my cellphone, I haven't had a single issue. Well worth the money for top-notch sound and a great, compact size for my desk.

Clarity and fullness
I’ve owned every speaker brand you can imagine, from 8k Joseph Audio to entry level Klipsch. These speakers impressed me for their clarity and versatility.Place them at the right place and they can fill a medium room with no problem.Bass it’s good but if you want more you have the option to add their own wireless sub.Don’t think about it too much like I did and just get them lol

Not worth the price and bad connectivity
Bluetooth has major connectivity issues. After finally connecting it doesn’t show up in app as connected. It never managed to connect to my gramophone. It did connect to my iPhone - but doesn’t show up on app, and it skips frequently. Something with WiFi. Speaker sounds like cheap jbls. They look cute though

Great speakers but…
Really stunning speakers but a few things to know. I tried jazz, rock, folk and orchestral music on my new KEF LSX II LT. All were played at different volumes from very moderate to quite loud. My room is on the larger size with a vaulted ceiling. The speakers are on stands and are placed about 6ft apart and 12ft from the listener. Findings: Firstly, recording quality mattered the most. In really good recordings, the bass, midrange and high bands were well balanced and a pleasure to listen to. Those recordings though were rare. Secondly, these speakers need some real volume to perform. The onboard amp will give it to you without complaint or distortion. When these speakers enjoyed a good recording at fairly high volume they were an absolute joy. Not at all at low volume with a mediocre recording. I was surprised how many recordings fit the criteria of mediocre. Lastly, the LSX II LT’s don’t generally provide really well defined bass. Plan on using a separate subwoofer. Most drums lack punch and bass is generally less than impressive. Again, there are some really notable exceptions (e.g., Talking Heads’ Burning Down the House, Weather Report’s Birdman, almost anything by Dream Theater), but all require some throttle before the speakers start to perform, at least as room speakers as opposed to desktop. Bottom Line: These are very competent speakers given the right music at a suitable volume but they’re a little too fussy about the right conditions. As much as I like them, I’d prefer something more forgiving, whatever that is.

Frequent noise in Spotify Connect
I do NOT recommend this if you want to use Spotify via Wifi (i.e., Spotify Connect) like me since then frequent noise makes it hard to enjoy the music. This never happens when I use Spotify via Bluetooth and when I use my previous network speaker (Denon Home 150) via Wifi.I asked this issue the customer support but they just said it was the problems on Spotify's side (I think nothing supports their thought) and did not try to suggest any solution. It was a bitter lesson for me to know how the company is.

So much potential
I bought these to replace my sonos amp that didn't have bluetooth, but I needed HDMI arc as well. I had never owned KEF before and they sounded great in the best buy magnolia room, but in the end, I returned them.Pros: they can handle high volume, have a plethora of connections and the app is pretty good. It does require you to create a username and password though.Cons: one of the other reviews said it, but the sound seemed like it was hollow and coming from a tin can. Once you hear it for a while you get used to it and don't hear it anymore, but when I was testing the KEFs against my SVS and DefTech speakers, the tin can sound just kept reappearing. I also bought the KEF Q150s and they don't have that hollow sound as they are more pronounced on vocals and highs. The second thing was while you can spotify connect/air play to the speakers any time, you can only select one other input that turns them on. In my case I wanted both HDMI and bluetooth to do that, but i had to pick one. I set it on bluetooth and just as the app said, it didn't turn on when I turned on my TV. Overall it's unfortunate because CEC would have solved that problem and that means now every time i turned on my tv, i'd have to use the KEF remote or the app to turn the speakers on.In the end, at their price point, the hollow sound and input turn on limitations got to me. All that on top of being careful to hold them because they don't have grills. That part I don't understand because it's way too easy to touch the speaker cone and damage them.

Great immersive sound
Awesome HiFi sound, great upgrade from my ten year old B&W A5, especially the bass this pair provides along with the FLAC quality sound from the KEF app on Wi Fi mode, so happy with this investment
