Really nice. Has a nice smell and really soothes skin. It is thick and you only need to use a very small amount but once applied it soaks in to skin nicely. I’ve used lots of different after shav creams and gels in the past and think this is the best one I’ve used

I have been using this after shave balm since it was mentioned in the Independent on Sunday best grooming products in 2003.I used to buy it form another internet seller but then I noticed amazon offer a free delivery so I feel this is better value for money.It settles any skin irritation very quickly and has a nice subtle citrous smell.

I use this in combination with a Clinque (occasional face scrub), shave cream from Debenhams or John Lewis, five blade Gillette and a pea size amount of this afterwards. It goes so far and can cover the whole face and neck in just a small amount and it is so gentle and with less shine than other aftershave balms. Perfect product and the price covers 3 times the purchase of cheaper brands in my opinion with better results.

Was looking forward to this product but it falls short, it is a gel and I find that gels leave a very fine face mask type film on the skin. You can only feel this with your hand and it's ever so slightly tacky when dry.It smells nice enough but weak which is good for me as it does not interfere with my chosen purfume for the day.I wi not by again and really not sure why this gets amazing reviews but I will stick to my favourites which are loccitane Cadet, G.F. Trumper sandalwood skin food and my personal recommendation is hands down Australian bodycare tea tree aftershave balm it is the best balm I've used and I have used them all from really expensive to dirt cheap, this ine is the best trust me.

I give it to all the serious shavers I know! It's not at all greasy, very soothing and smells wonderful.

My partner often uses aftershave balms and some are better than others. He has slightly sensitive skin and this does sting a little after a shave but not for long. Some nice ingredients in there which are more natural. It has good moisturising properties and it's rich so not a great deal is needed. My chap has been using it for a few days now and says he really likes it. I think we'll buy it when this tube runs out and it'll be a special treat!

Best aftershave you can buy. Gives you the spicy feeling of a regular aftershave, but without the alcohol and other junk. Better at moisturizing and smells fresh, unlike most aftershaves that smell like an Eastern European disco.

I had been 'hunting' for a new product to apply to my face after shaving. I had gone through quite a number of them until finding Baxter of California After Shave Balm--I've been using it for almost a year now. To be honest, when it first arrived I wasn't so thrilled with the fragrance... it reminded me of the barber shop when I was a boy (decades ago!). Interestingly, now I have come to enjoy the scent, rather fresh when you apply it... and it doesn't linger too long. The balm is very soothing to the skin, and moisturizes without any trace of greasiness. If you have very dry skin, you may need to apply a moisturizer in addition to this product. I like that it doesn't make your face shiny, more of a matte finish on your skin--clean, fresh, and comforting--it never stings or irritates. This is really excellent stuff! A small dab goes a long way...one tube lasts me almost 6 months. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a quality after-shave balm that won't break the bank.
