Just a little shocked how well this antenna works from only 4 feet off off the ground. I used a "J" pole already attached to my house from an old Direct TV dish. It is between my home and neighbor's home. All the wiring was still there from my Direct TV days. I did not feel like getting on my roof and placing the antenna up there and replacing all the antenna cable. Antenna was easy to snap together. From the photo you can see the antenna and the direction it is pointing. The closet mountain with some Los Angeles-based antennas on it is 59 miles away just over the corner of my neighbors. I pointed the antenna the best I could in that direction. The next set of Los Angeles antennas are well over the roof of my neighbor's house about 73 miles away. I was not even sure this set-up would work at all. Upstairs TV picked up 81 channels and main TV downstairs picked 91 channels. I consider this pretty unbelievable and to say the least, I am very happy with the antenna. This is a fixed antenna with no electricity.

The antenna itself is easy to put together. The frame is nice and sturdy, heavy duty, not cheap nor weak. Easy to hook up to the TV and scan for channels. This antenna reaches out 200 miles. Can bring in 100 channels too. Picture quality was crystal clear. Reception allowed me 40 channels and I am in a good portion of woods. The way I aimed it towards the sky was the way my satellite dish was aimed and it worked like a charm.

Replacing a Five Star antenna damaged by wind that worked reasonably well, lost signal only occasionally. Installed new one that doesn't get signal at all. We are 55 unobstructed miles from towers and you advertise 200. All I did was re-connect coax on the roof, inside stayed as it was. We are using an amplifier as well. Tried support on Five Star website and it doesn't function. Probably will have to return. Accurately representing range is important.Update 4/5/25: Five Star replaced my antenna at no charge with a different model. It is installed and working reasonably well. I'm still skeptical of the 200 mile range claim, but we are getting channels from 55 - 60 miles away. Very satisfied with their customer support.

i’m 75 miles from nearest Transmission tower. Many large trees block the path butmy experience is awesome. Antenna assembles in 15 minutes and small and compact. I hooked it up and left it laying on roof to go check TV prior to positioning antenna. Turned on TV and was blown away by the clarity and # of stations already being received. Stood it up and fastened it to roof. it’s barely visible from ground and gets Incredible reception.Good bye YouTube TV.

Selected 1 star because 0 stars not an option. Hooked up antenna and am not getting reception. Hooked up an old antenna and am able to get several channels. Hooked up the Five Star antenna again - still no reception. Called Five Star number listed on Amazon twice - No one answered and no system to allow us to leave a message.

I put 2 of these in my attic. 1 pointed to the northeast and the other to the northwest. I used a channel master signal combiner to tie the antenna signals together. Then through a signal amplifier. It works great, better than I had hoped. The tv stations are about 45 miles away in opposite directions. The 2 antennas together does the job.

Purchased this to replace an omnidirectional (the disc with two "wings") antenna that was brand new but never quite worked right. Easy to assemble. Easy to install. Easy to aim with a compass or a compass app on your phone. I went from picking up 4 channels (yes, I am very rural) to picking up 22 channels. I am quite pleased. 200 mile range seems unlikely but I still get 22 channels from a city with broadcasting facilities about 70 miles away.

I was putting it in place of another model antenna I had that got damaged during a storm. It was easy to assemble and install; however it did not receive as many channels as my damaged one. I ended up taking it down, repairing my old one and putting it back up. I tried turning it in different directions and made no difference.
