You can charge your higher capacity battery, but the charging speed will be relatively slow and it will take a long time. Q: Does it work for 18650 2000 mAh rechargeable lithium ion batteries?

I expect it to work. I have 5000 mAh, and 9900mAh batteries, and it works for both.

Q: What is the charging current (per cell) when all 4 batteries are installed?

About a third of an amp. It took about 8 hours to charge my cells but I only had the charger on when I was in my shop. A slow charge rate is better for older cells.

Q: Does this charger shut off when the battery is fully charged?

Thank you for your question. When the battery is fully charged, the charger will stop charging, the battery indicator will turn green, and the battery indicator will stay on with very low energy.
