It has been a struggle to find the right coloring agent for a UV Resin stained glass look. This is the only dye/pigment that created uniform translucent pieces with high color saturation and high light transmission. Extremely happy with these dyes.

I chose this kit because of the variety. The colors are amazing and your choice can be between clear or opaque. These work amazing and are easy to Use and mix. A great way to add a splash of color to your casting projects. A little goes a long way..

The colors are true to the color it says. For the negative reviews they are unwarranted. These are some of the best resin colors I've worked with.

Really like the assortment of colors

I've only used a few of the colors with epoxy resin and they were as effective as other resin eyes I've used. I haven't tried using with UV resin yet, but I suspect these dyes will be too vicious for that. I was not very impressed with the color selection so make sure to look closely at the colors you will be receiving. If you have other dyes, this set might complement yours. If this is the only set of dyes you have, consider what you will be limited to before purchasing and make sure they will work for what you have in mind.These bottle are what I consider sample bottles and if you're working on things that you want to make with consistent colors, you may run out (granted only for a large project) of the color(s) you need before you're finished. 30 colors may seem better than 28, but I would rather have two bottles each of black and white with 26 others than more bottles of more colors that I can't use.This isn't the first set of dyes that I've received packaged this way, but I think it's really dumb for manufacturers to package bottles of dye like this. Maybe it works well for warehouse storage, lying them side by side horizontally, but it works terribly for practical storage by the consumer. The labels need to be seen, because colors are not easily distinguishable as concentrated and through opaque plastic containers, and it's very difficult to keep these from rolling around so you can't see the color names. It just doesn't seem like it would be that difficult or expensive to package in a container that makes the colors easy to find and stores the bottles vertically so they won't leak after opening them.If they were priced better (currently $17, Feb-2024), I would recommend them despite all that. I rate them at 3 stars because they do work and give variety to add to ones existing choice of dyes. I don't think what you receive is a $17 value (these are not alcohol ink or mica), but at a lower price point, I could recommend this set, but probably not as a starter set.

Works mostly okay. Had a couple bottles that wouldn't tap open. But you can carefully remove the very top if it doesn't pour out of nozzle...so still usable. 😉 love the vibrant variety of colors. Great selection.
