I was really surprised by the quality of this item, given its low price. The case is really sturdy, compact, & well designed. The paints exceeded my expectations. While they are "student grade", they are not at all chalky. They are well pigmented, vibrant, with a lovely transparency. The colors do not fade as they dry. I'm very pleased I made this purchase.

I normally use artist quality, brand name watercolors, but I bought this set because of the small size, the range of colors, and to use for book markers and greeting cards. It fits well on my smaller desk with room to spare. The colors have a lot of pigment, wet easily, and are easy to paint with. Tue only critique I would have is that the colors are poured directly into the palette and are not removable, but if they were in individual pans I'm sure the price would be higher. As they are, the compartments could be refilled with a tube of paint. The palette is sturdy and nicely made and has a removable mixing tray. The lid closure is secure, and the palette is just as good or better than higher end products. It has an excellent range of colors with many that are translucent. I would rank this palette with higher end student watercolors. I think you will be pleased you bought it!

This product is definitely worth more than its price. It’s super easy to learn and super easy to get started with. It’s also small enough to fit in any bag. I recommend for anyone that wants to take watercolor painting as a hobby.

Pigment in paint is good. Brushes too small.

Needed this for a class and it came in CLUTCH. If you're going to make an investment in your first and only watercolor palette, this is absolutely worth it for what it has. Some colors are a bit similar to each other, but there's a really good variety. Paint quality is solid.

Colors great, good value, easy to use, Easy to blend colors in tray, good transparency

I went from really cheap watercolor paint sets to this set from Sakura, and there is such a huge difference in the paint quality and saturation. I love this set for when I'm not painting at home as it has plenty of colors to choose from and/or mix together. It's also compact enough to fit in my traveling art bag.

The media could not be loaded. really easy to transport! i love the water color pen, it’s very easy to clean! you get a lot of colors for such a small pallets, and they last a long time!
