A great replacement light fitting for my wax melt lamp

So, as it comes, there's the thing attached to it that fits into the bottle. Except it doesn't. To make it fit, you'd have to set about it with a Stanley knife or something. But there's also some white ribbed bungs to replace that. Three of them and one fits. Although it's a little loose, but you can remedy that with a little strategically placed super glue. The other thing is that the lead comes out of the side of the device at the top of the bottle. Which makes the finished light (to me) lop sided and unprofessional. So I drilled a hole near the bottom of the bottle and sourced an appropriate sized gromit. All good, but to get the lead through the hole, you've either got to remove the wire from the switch or the fitting. Unfortunately they are sealed units. So I had to get an online switch to replace the one I can't undo (without breaking it). However, all done and now I've got a nice Southern Comfort bottle lamp. I've only taken one star off because it's otherwise a good piece of kit and solving problems successfully is okay I guess.

Bought this due to a lamp having a broken fixing. I know it was meant for a bottle but I made it work in my lamp and couldn't be happier.

I used this to make a lamp out of a decretive Gin bottle, it worked out fine.

','Generally a good item. Safe and strong plug lead and switch. However, the fitting to go into the bottle was too big, so I tried the the other. fittings supplied. None of them fitted firmly. I had to use the smallest one and some blu tack for it to stay in firmly.
