Blindingly Bright Upgrade – But BEWARE: Not Legal for Road Use in the UK
First and foremost: These bulbs are NOT LEGAL for on-road use in the UK. Fitting them into reflector-type housings (like on my 2010 Peugeot 3008) can lead to a £50 fixed penalty notice per bulb—£100 total for dipped beam—and can fail your MOT or even affect your insurance. With that said, I fitted these to my "off-road" vehicle for testing purposes only. Now onto the bulbs themselves: I installed these NOVSIGHT H7 LED bulbs because like many drivers, I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the poor output of halogen bulbs, especially now that more and more cars come equipped with ultra-bright LED or laser headlights as standard. Halogen just doesn’t cut it anymore, and I wanted to see what difference these high-power LEDs could make.Fitting was very straightforward. Pop the bonnet, remove the dust cap from the headlight housing, disconnect the old bulb, slot in the new LED, reconnect, and replace the dust cap. I've seen reviews saying the locking ring has a slightly different cutout (two rectangular tabs instead of one), but don't worry—it still works perfectly.Once installed, I fired them up—and wow. It was like night turned into day. The brightness increase over stock halogens is staggering. The whiter light output of 6500k makes things appear so much clearer (could be a placebo effect) but it feels like i can see so much better. Road signs reflect these lights much better, makes them "pop" even the dirty ones. So great for country roads, where hazard signs are important to notice.A quick word about headlight design:My car has reflector housings, which rely on lots of mirrors to bounce light forward, unlike projector housings that use a lens to focus the beam more precisely. Reflectors are notoriously poor at controlling beam spread, which can cause glare and dazzle other drivers.Luckily, my headlight reflector housings include a built-in glare shield (a metal ring surrounding the bulb) that helps reduce this issue. When installing, make sure the LED chips face exactly 9 and 3 o'clock, aligning with the glare shield. Otherwise, the beam pattern will be messy and potentially dangerous. However, main beams do not have this so the beam pattern on those may be unpredictable.I tested the output pattern in a dark car park and adjusted the headlight levelling dial (near the steering wheel) accordingly. Normally, the manual says “0” with no passengers or cargo, but due to the increased intensity of these LEDs, I found that setting it to 2 lowered the beam just enough to prevent glare to others while retaining strong visibility.Since installation, I’ve done a fair bit of night driving. Out of hundreds of cars, only two have flashed their lights at me—one an ambulance on a dark rural road (possibly unrelated), and another a very low sports car (who also flashed the car in front of me). So overall, not a major issue but still worth being cautious.Another note: These bulbs have a built-in cooling fan, one per bulb. If your car, like mine, automatically turns on the headlights when you unlock it in the dark, you may hear a faint whining or humming noise. That’s just the fans spinning—totally normal, but worth knowing in case it surprises you.I've also fitted a set of these to my main beam, as there is no glare shield to help shape the beam it is a bit less focused than halogen bulbs were, however, in my car they were focused to a pinpoint, so with the LEDs in it's still looks okay. Especially when you consider you only have those on a night when there's no one coming the other way.Summary:Brightness: 10/10. Incredible difference.Fitment: Easy and secure.Beam pattern: Acceptable with adjustments, but depends on your car's reflector design.Legality: NOT road legal in the UK. Fines and MOT failure are real risks.Recommendation: For off-road use or well-informed experimentation, these are a huge upgrade. But do your research, test responsibly, and understand the risks. If this review helped you, please hit the "Helpful" button so other drivers can make an informed choice. Drive safe!

Don’t be in 2 minds..... BUY THESE!!!
Received my bulbs the next day after purchase and I’ve ordered them for my 2011 triumph tiger 1050.I ordered these as a trial as I was trying to decide whether HID or LED was the way forward on my bike as the stock headlight is absolutely toilet!I had fitted the HID kit 1 week prior to putting the LED bulbs in and the HID was just as good as the stock headlight which I’m told is unusual but whatever. After a 2.5cm hole was created in the headlight bulb cover due to the length of the bulb because of the additional fan on the bulb itself I fired it up...Instantly in daylight on the hottest bank holiday in UK history I could see some faint lines on the wall in front of the bike and on the floor from the beam pattern created by the standard headlight projectors already fitted to the bike. From the marks I could see I screwed the bulb cover back in and put all the fairing back on the bike and waited patiently for dusk.By the way, fitting the bulb was extremely simple! It’s just a simple plug and play.So place it in the headlight, plug it in to the original standard wiring and hey presto. So after waiting 3 hours patiently pacing around my living room, looking out of the window and then getting all my bike gear on, the time had come!!Dusk had arrived and I turned the ignition on on the bike and instant light! The light was clearer on the floor and the beam pattern looked at a perfect height not to dazzle oncoming traffic or blind anyone I was following so off I went. One thing I was mildly concerned about which I should’ve mentioned earlier was the heat created on the bulb and on the little box looking thing halfway down the wire.So I was quite concerned that it may melt something that will cost the earth to replace. However I had some faith in other reviewers and in the bulbs fan to keep the heat at bay.Anyway, I was off for a couple of hours riding in rural and town areas of the Home Counties...I know I have waffled on plenty so I will keep this short...These bulbs are AMAZING!!The original bulbs - in the bin!The HID kit I purchased for £70 - in the bin!!LED is the way forward and I will be telling all my biker mates to do the same!As I do long journeys from time to time over nights I will update my review on how they are after a month or 2 all going well.If they fail before you’ll see my update the day they die.Honestly so far... They are great! And if they do continue to deliver I will also get a set of bulbs for my car and my wife’s car.If you are still in 2 minds whether to buy these - don’t be!!!Buy these bulbs I can’t recomend them highly enough! Also if the seller likes they could also send me a free set of H9 bulbs if they like.HeheIf you don’t ask you don’t get.:)********** UPDATE **********These bulbs are totally outstanding!I’ve been through Europe a couple of times and I use my bike regularly and they are going strong!Still look brilliant and give fantastic light!Highly recommend!

Expensive but much better than standard, very white and long range.
Can confirm these fit a 2016 ford fiesta ST and a bmw 1 series 2017.Whiter than normal bulbs and shine far as well, now I can actually see the road! expensive so going to wait before upgrading my yellow high beams as they let them down but definitely a massive improvement from standard bulbs.Idk how people can comment saying these aren’t white…Update - after like 3 weeks i got a warning on my BMW 1 series saying both bulbs failure yet they work still? turned car off and on and its gone away but now makes me paranoid both bulbs are just going to die at the same time.

Superb bulbs,so much brighter than halogen.
Fitted to my 2001 Volvo v70 and they are superb, far brighter than standard bulbs, built in fan which is hardly audible with ears close,no error messages either.
