They seem perfect for the job and at least I'll now be able to refit the loft insulation were it had been puleed back to allow the downlights to be fitted.

This is one of those items which sounds great but you're not really sure if it's made any difference.I've recently redone all of my loft insulation so I bought these as I wanted it all done properly. I put 8 of these over all of my down lights. I think it's good for safety because the insulation isn't resting on the top of the lights. It might have thermal properties but its basically a plastic dome.

Purchased to cover some newly installed spots in the loft. Most of them fit fine, but a couple of them I needed to trim down in size so they would fit close to joists / boards over the top.Got there eventually but took extra time cutting them to size.You won't have any issues if you don't have boards or other obstructions in the way.
