One lamp of the two came with the mechanism that attaches the light arm stripped out rendering it useless. We are going to try to fix it but the quality needs improvement.Updating my review. Not sure if I can change the star rating but I'd give it 5 for the responsiveness & quality follow-up of the company.The seller clearly cares about quality because they reached out and offered a full refund. Since one of our lamps was good I suggested 50% would be fair. They said they'd report the feedback to manufacturing for correction.We couldn't tell if the threads were two short for engagement or if they were stripped. I glued the threads and the washer to try to make it hold. It is working but not real robustly. I can't provide photos at this time without undoing my fix.I did see that a few others had the same issue so I suspect a root cause will be found and quickly corrected in either the design or process.I like these wireless lights, they look good and were just what we needed since the plug we were using is in the middle of a hardwood floor and was a trip hazard and ran the risk of being damaged when we moved the chair near it or vacuumed around it.Bravo to the company for reading reviews and taking action.

I bought three different lamps, and this is the one that I kept. Tall enough for a bedroom or desk. Might be a bit short for a livingroom end table. You need to put the shade together, but that was easy Peezy. I would recommend.

The lamp body is nice quality, looks great. The shade is fine, it is one where the shade comes rolled up and you clip it into the hoops so there is seam where it Velcros together that you will want to place to the back (making it not great for an open area where you see the shade from all sides). The product is way over packaged, maybe I've just been spoiled by others however this is taped and wrapped and in foam -- took me a minute to figure out how to even get it open. All those are details -- for the price these are excellent lamps.My one negative surprise with these is their size -- the marketing photos make them seem a lot larger. Some of the customer/review photos give a more accurate perspective and are worth looking at. The lamps are fine for bedside table, in fact they fit nicely on mine. They are a little low so that when you walk up to the bed you are looking down into the lap shade and seeing the bulb -- a top on the shade would resolve this.

At first I thought oh no I'm sending these back. Why? The shade had to be assembled and I am not handy, but it was so easy. Now I have two very nice lamps for my tv room. They ave very very nice and light up bright.

Don't be fooled by the small box that Amazon delivers. Open it, read and follow simple instructions, and, voila!, you will have a nifty, attractive lamp shade over an equally attractive lamp. I was surprised and pleased by the product and I still admire it every day.

Love these lamps. I’m going for a very neutral theme in my bedroom and they may h perfectly. Definitely bigger than expected
