Impressive non-ratcheting stainless winch for pontoon trailer
I replaced a ratcheting winch on a scissor lift pontoon trailer after the winch got away from me and nearly broke my arm. This is exactly what I wanted, you crank it up and let go and it holds. To go back down under load you simply crank the other way, there is a bit of resistance as the brake releases but it holds the weight if you let go. All quality stainless construction.

Heavy Duty
Works well as we use it around fertilizer.

2 inch Brake strap
Instructions do not cover how to use 2 inch straps it only covers using cables. Site says both can be used but I have to disassemble the unit to drill a hole for the 2 inch straps other than that it’s a great product

Winch is perfect for my application
I purchased this winch to raise and lower an outboard engine on my boat. The control both raising and lowering is exceptional. It appears well made and durable.

Great Winch
I needed to mount this hand crank outdoors. It sees rain and snow. Works great and most importantly no rust. The hand brake is a nice safe feature.

Worked good for a year then auto break quit working
Worked for the first year then the break stopped working so now is a paperweight. Hoped it would hold up longer
