Gorgeous Quality
This is a phenomenal hairbrush- I have moderately fine but very long hair and am blown away by Kent’s quality of the bristles and brush handle/ paddle. I would say this is even better quality than my Mason Pearson pure bristle brush and less than 1/6th of the price. I’ve already cleaned hair out of this with the excellent brush comb provided and no bristles fell out. I’m sure it’s inevitable to lose some but no sign of it yet. My hair and scalp look and feel fabulous. I cannot say enough good things about this- and it’s made in the UK!

Perfect for thin or fine hair
Before purchasing I did what I consider to be a fair amount of research on Boar Bristle Brushes. All boar bristle brushes are not a like - didn't know it was so complicated! This brush is cushioned and the bristle work best with fine or thinning hair. My hair is past my shoulders. I don't think the length of hair is an issue - it is the thickness. If you have thick hair this brush will not work for you as it will not go through the layers.Price wise it is comparable to other places that sell the same brand - liked that I could return it if needed. I will be keeping it. It is of high quality and makes my hair shiny and smooth!Want a boar bristle brush and not sure what is right for you - go to the Kent website and look at the many different models and the description of what the brush is best for (thick hair, fine hair, short hair, long hair etc.). Write the model code down. The manufacturer is in England so you probably won't be purchasing it from them - Euro's and shipping fee.

oh how I love this brush. I only wish it didn't cost this much!
I've purchased Kent brushes for years. They really are the best brand and gentle on your hair. Always were expensive, but now they are the price of a steak dinner. yikes! With care and cleaning, this brush will last 10 years. However, mine keep getting 'borrowed' by my children and spouse. I guess I'll have to write my name on it like I did when they were small.

Good quality but bristles are very stiff
I’m on the hunt for a soft boar bristle brush for fine dry hair. These bristles are much too stiff for me. Overall the brush is very good quality but just not what I was looking for.

Beautiful brush for any length of hair
This is the perfect 100 strokes a night hair brush. After using my detangling tools of Tek bamboo bristle brush and Hunter Jack comb (the one recommended for beards), this is the final piece of the grooming puzzle. The bristles massage the hair and distribute the natural oils through ones hair.If you are trying to grow out your hair, quality grooming products will help along the way. This is one is essential.

Not for me
Unfortunately, this brush was made with very coarse & stiff boar's hair & I was afraid to use it on my very fine, thinning hair. Luckily the seller made the return very easy & I was able to get my money back on the purchase. The brush was nice quality, just not right for fine hair IMO.

Nice but firm
Nice brush but not soft enough on thin fine or fragile hair
