I love Eufy products. These were easy to add to the home base unit. As we travel we will have pieces of mind should we have a water leak or freeze problem. I can’t recommend Eufy products enough!

Works perfectly tested it when I got it and it detects water right away! Have had it for about 8 months and the battery is only missing 1 out of 4 ticks on it within the app!

We got this Eufy Security Water and Freeze Sensor with Remote Alerts, to add to our Eufy system base unit. Easy to follow directions to set up. Leak detection should be excellent as it detected even a little water on the test runs. The only problem we had connecting was due to the network password being changed (our error). I'm super glad we got this and it gives me peace of mind that we can deal with any future leaks where this Eufy sensor is placed. And yes, we got it AFTER we had a leak, fixed the faucet, and cleaned up the mess.

These are great and that they will really only detect the sound of a smoke alarm, which is really useful. We have an alarm system on our grinder pump and I actually installed one of these next to it hoping to have it alert me when the pump alarm went off, but it won’t detect the sound of the pump alarm because it’s different from a smoke alarm so we ended up just putting these where we have smoke alarms and they work really well. The only thing I will say is that it does take maybe five seconds for this to register the alarm and send you a notification. It’s not instantaneous, but it does seem to capture the smoke alarm sound correctly.

We had a slow water leak that went unnoticed for a while and caused some damage that resulted in a considerable renovation/remodel that was overdue anyway. During the renovation I noticed these devices and purchased several to go under sinks, behind the refrigerator & dishwasher and under some replacement incoming water lines in a second house that is older to warn of freezing temperatures and/or leaks. They are trivial to install & test and give us much more peace of mind that we will have early warning of problems in both of these homes.

sensor appears to be well designed especially feature of well-sealed for immersion in water.base station S380 app, however, is useless - unable to set e-mail push notifications on events. [loud] alarm on base station as 10 second notification of event with apparently not repetitive signal of event.this was intended as house-warming gift for a tech-savvy new home buyer - now have 4 of these useless devices that are well beyond the return period. free to a good home...
