Very hard steel
I like the design and build of this knife. The blade is quite thick, "fairly" sharp, and the G10 handle is nicely fitted in an interesting way. The sheath leaves a bit to be desired, but doesn't detract from the knife. I removed the belt clip for pocket carry, for which this knife is perfectly sized.I can't guarantee the blade is genuine D2, but it is extremely hard. The lanyard hole edges are not chamfered, thus, are a bit sharp. The handle is nicely chamfered, so why not hit the lanyard hole while they're at it? I was afraid this would wear through my lanyard pretty quickly. Easy peasy, right? Um, not so much. I have some genuine hard cobalt drill bits, so I picked one to chamfer the hole. It countersunk one side, but when I flipped the knife to countersink the other side, I had a devil of a time. I didn't realize the knife steel actually chewed up the cobalt drill. I had to wobble the drill bit just to get the chamfer done. Ugly. Pure amateur move. Not gonna waste another bit. That's some hard steel.Going to purchase another one of these and stash it.

A very nice addition to my other Omesio . . .
This fixed blade is fantastic. The blade shape, weight and compact size is ideal for my type of EDC use. It arrived extremely sharp and easy to touch-up after moderate use. The D2 is behaving well, despite being on my person and living in a humid, coastal environment. I usually maintain a very slight film of Ballistol or equivalent and wipe down after most uses. I like taking care of beautiful equipment. The ergo, scales and gimping are great in hand, and the knife is also a simple joy to look at. The sheath came with a very nice metal, horizontal belt clip that was a nice surprise. It's reversible and I'm now using for scout carry. As with my other Omisio 5.82" fixed blade, the finish is excellent and attention to detail is bewildering - not often found in such a budget friendly knife. I love it.

Great Knife
Excellent little knife. Great buy, although it wasn't stated in the description, it came with a belt clip latch which is cool.

Very small...
This is a nice knife for the money. Difficult to get a decent grip on it to do any kind of work... Could use another inch in handle length. Would make a excellent skinner for those who trap or hunt for fur bearers.Poor fit on the kydex sheath. Difficult to access the knife without pulling the entire works, sheath and all, then removing the knife. Surprisingly sharp out of the box. Advertised as D2 tool steel, not sure I'd believe that, considering it comes from China. Nice grind. Jimping has no real effect or grip, as it is rounded.Overall... I like it, although it's difficult to grip, and difficult to access.

Decent for a cheap knife
Great value for the money, but not much blade on the knife. A good package opener or string cutter, but not a knife I’d choose to EDC. Built quality is okay for a cheap knife, but mine had a few machining nicks on the spine. D2 steel so average edge retention, but easy to sharpen. Too small for me, though.

Great knife, Great value.
My husband loves this small knife. He plans to attached it to his life vest while kayak fishing. He says the knife is very sharp just as it's advertised.
