Very light weight kettle, even with water at the max line. Super simple to set up both the physical kettle and the app to connect to WiFi. I noticed the filter attached to the spout that’s removable and I didn’t realize there was one so that’s a nice touch.It ran smooth the first “test” cycle it recommends. It heated the water within five-ish minutes which is very fast for me versus the old fashioned method I used (pot and stove haha). This feels like a quality product and functions as directed so far. This is my first electric kettle so I’ll update if I have any more information to share or issues!I would knock a star off if it was advertised as but I just assumed (that’s on me so I’ll keep it 5/5), but the outside is NOT insulated so it becomes very hot to the touch when it’s heating up and in idle mode. The handle stays cool and the lid is unaffected as well, but if you need to use two hands to pour then I recommend using a hand towel or oven mitt to protect your hand.For only paying $36 and some change, so far it seems it’s been worth the price compared to other electric kettles I was researching. I haven’t had to clean it yet, but just looking at it- it seems rather straightforward and easy to clean given the large opening.

This tea kettle is as close to perfect as I've found. It boils a full pot in minutes and can be set a multiple temperatures. What sets it apart, though, is its ability to work with Amazon Alexa to start remotely and keep water hot for hours. I like to be able to start it from my bedroom and have hot water ready when my slow moving body reaches the kitchen. I've tried others and they're difficult to connect to wifi and they've broken down repeatedly. This has been easy to use and I've had it for months with no issues whatsoever.

We really like this tea pot. Well, we really want to anyway. Everything is as advertised but there are a couple of things we just could not overlook. First, it spills when you pour. There are ways to prevent this but we have people of varying ages and some of these people don’t slow down, ever. When they go to pour, in their haste, boiling water ends up on the counter and potentially on them. If you live a life that allows you to pour slowly, then this isn’t an issue. If you are busy and a fast pourer, I would think twice. Our other issue is that the tank itself is plastic. It’s advertised as plastic and we thought it would be ok, but we realized quickly that this limits our options. Again, faster lifestyles have to take extra steps to accomplish certain tasks. That all said, it is otherwise an excellent product. Absolutely love the app and literally everything else about this. It’s quiet, easy to use, and heats up quickly. Fix the spout design and make the tank itself glass and we would own two.

Really great kettle. Very fast - 1/2 the time of the microwave for boiling water. Easy controls. Not sure that I need the remote app, but it works great. Color change let's you know what's happening in the kettle - I like the window in to see how high the water is.Cool to the touch on the outside, so safe on the counter. Lid stays attached and pops open - love this - no lost lid.Really great kettle and a really great price.

Bought this Jan 27 of 2024. Only me in house, so not used frequently.Died last week throwing an E2 error.Worked fine until then. Products should last more than a year especially if it's only a one person household.Not to mention I'm disabled, order most things, it's a hassle to return, even if they let you.I don't care if your disabled or not, we all have fixed income and budgets and when we do our research on what's a good brand, at least I expect more from a product for my money.Very disappointed. It's hard enough being disabled boiling water on stove top.I wonder if my govee light bulbs will go next as I bought them at sametime for my arthritis in my hands.I'll post when or if time comes on those, but for now they are good. Knock on wood.
