Mickey's Christmas Carol ReadAlong Storybook and CD Paperback – Picture Book, September 12, 2017

We keep adding to our collection of Read-Along storybooks; my daughter (3.75 years old) loves them! When we are at home, we use a boombox to listen to the CD, but I also like taking these in the car. My daughter can turn the pages of the book on her own when she hears the chime and loves following along with the story. She really enjoys hearing the voices and dialogue from the movies she knows so well.Important note: This story stays true to the plot of A Christmas Carol; I wondered if the Disney version would change the plot, but it really doesn't. I listened to this before showing it to my daughter, and I was a little bit leery about the "grave diggers" and the semi-creepy voice of the ghost of Christmas Future. She took it in stride though, and seems to understand the basic plot. She loved the book (especially the voice of Donald Duck!) and asked to listen to it A LOT during this holiday season. :) It was fun to listen to this first and then watch the animated Mickey's Christmas Carol on Netflix.Note: The Disney storybooks vary in length; this one is 12:28 in length.

Love the story!

We bought this one for my kid because this Christmas is the first real one for her in that she begin to know the meaning of holiday. We love the story and the CD along with the book is super super excellent!

A perfect way to let the little one's enjoy Disney's classic telling of A Christmas Carol whenever they want (and not the God awful jim carey version, Blech!) Plus it is fun for adults that had these types of stories on record or tape as a kid. There is something fun about getting these again. Highly recommended!

Cute and an entertaining version of a Christmas classic for my 5 and 6 year old! Love these books on CDs. We have a collection set up in our playroom and are a great "go to" after a busy day at school.

Solid version of the story for the most part...although some of the voices are a little off. If you're child is anything like my daughter and very observant, they'll pick up on the voice of Mickey Mouse is definitely not the normal voice. I'm fairly sure the same is true for Donald. The narrator is British, which I felt added to the story, but he is a little dry which might turn off some kids.

Wonderful CD and read along book. My kids love listening to the story and following along on their own with the book. I would highly recommend these read along books for young kids who are not yet reading or early readers.

This was a gift that keeps giving. My 4 year old grand child listens in the car, plane and when traveling. She can entertain herself and enjoy the story book.
