Did the trick!
My spouse doesn't want our kittens bugging him when he's in bed but they learned how to jump over the gate in about five minutes and the room gets very cold in the winter with the door shut. This has worked great to keep the kittens out and let the warm air in. It was easy to install. I had measured the door frame and ordered the screen that was closest to those measurements. The Velcro is strong and when I tried pulling off the screen to readjust, it pulled up the ends of the tape from the door frame, so I used the tacks provided on the four corners of the door to keep the tape in place and stuck the screen on top. There was enough tape to put around two doors so if you wanted to restrict access to the bedroom one day and the kitchen another you could theoretically switch the screen from one doorway to the other. I appreciate being able to roll the screen up and keep it out of the way when the kittens are allowed in the room. The screen feels durable and well constructed. The first night it was up one of the kittens climbed three-fourths of the way up the screen and there was no damage or stretching (she was only three pounds, though). The zipper is kind of loud and brings the kittens running, but it hasn't woken either of us up when coming in/out in the middle of the night.

My cat is soooo mad!
I have a cat that thinks it's okay to jump on the bed in the middle of the night and wake us up to fill His Majesty's food dish. I tried closing him out of the room, but the big jerk figured out how to turn the knob, open the door, and continue the nightly scampering shenanigans. I finally resorted to putting an eye and hook latch on the door so he couldn't push it open, but the room would get too stuffy from lack of air flow. Plus, it's not exactly safe, ya know? When I saw this, I figured I'd give it a try. This thing is awesome! It comes with plenty of velcro, plus tacks to attach the screen even more securely, but I found the tacks unnecessary, as the adhesive on the back of the velcro stuck firmly to the door frame. The zipper works smoothly and there's a strap to hold the screen to one side when I want to leave it open. The screen is thicker than a standard window screen and withstood a big, fat 18 pound cat trying to climb it. He didn't get too far because 18 lbs., but the screen didn't budge. It was super easy to install and fit the bedroom door perfectly. And IT WORKS! As I type this, His Royal Highness is on the other side of the door, pouting, because he can't get in the room. And the room is nice and cool because the screen allows the air to flow through like it's supposed to.We'll see how it holds up over time, but it definitely serves it purpose and was worth every dime if we can finally get a good night's sleep.

Good for temporary use
This screen door would work best for light or temporary use, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a permanent solution to keep cats out of a room. It’s decent quality for what it is, but my cats are destructive little monsters who quickly figured out how to rip out the actual stitching where the zipper is sewn to the screen. The screen itself is a nice, heavy weight..but my cats were able to tear up the corners anyway. If you have sweet, normal cats, there’s nothing wrong with this door and it will probably work well for you. Bad cats will only see it as a challenge.

Measure the inside of your door frame and add 2 inches.
Got this to separate a newly acquired stray from the resident cats during the introduction phase. Product is as advertised. The mesh is a decent thickness and seems durable. The zipper, I don't have high hopes for, time will tell. As stated in the headline of the review, measure the inside of your door frame and add 2 inches. They don't make it too obvious that this is necessary and I clearly missed the two bullet points at the bottom of the description from the manufacturer. Thus, my screen is sticking to the molding of the door frame hanging on with about a 1/4 inch of the adhesive all the way around. Hoping this will be sufficient to deter any fights...Update: I ended up screwing a couple of pieces of 1X2 to the inside of the door frame and then screwed the screen into them to secure it. The adhesive was not strong enough to prevent a cat from getting through. Although it is not installed correctly, I highly doubt the regular adhesive even installed properly would prevent a cat that is hell bent on getting through it. I purchased another today as, low and behold the zipper gave out. The threads that sew the zipper to the screen started coming out within the first few weeks and was being patched by duct tape and staples as section by section would come apart.

A good solution, needs reinforcements to hang
I definitely had to order more tacks to keep these up and attached to my drywall, but I was using them regularly, zipping and unzipping multiple times a day. I used them to keep my cats separated after a fight and to reintroduce them. I did not use the sticky adhesive, only the brads provided, plus more I ordered separately. Zipper held up well for as often as I used it.

My cat BOUNCED off of this when he tried to run through it. GREAT product
This is a quality product. My cats have climbed up it, tried to run through it, and still it holds up like a champ. It is easy to put up (when you follow the instructions) and it adheres just like you hope it does. It is easy to unzip and re-zip and I've had it now for a few months and it still holding up very, very well. I am using it to separate two cats who do not get along and give some assurance to the one who isn't as confident. It is definitely working and I am well pleased.
