I'll update after I finish the second half.It is definitely written from the POV of a consultant, but still has information applicable to non-consultants. A lot of jargon is bolded and explained which will make it easy for people who don't have consulting or enterprise experience to pick up.Part 1 really more beneficial for citizen developers (business users doing development), new developers, and junior developers who haven't worked at an enterprise yet. They also include information about setting up RPA programs (roles, opportunity identification, sizing, etc.).Part 2 continues the trend adding information pertinent to more experienced developers (security considerations like PII and credentials, attended v unattended, solution design, standards, requirement traceability matrixes, etc.).

I highly recommend this book to both: business stakeholders seeking a comprehensive understanding of the technology to accelerate digital transformation, and to RPA professionals aiming to excel in this dynamic field. The book serves as a crucial guide to the multifaceted role of a Solution Architect (SA) in automation programs. It emphasizes their role as a 'bar raiser,' guiding teams with design principles and strategic choices instead of shortcuts.As an RPA Developer, I found the book to be an eye-opener. It underscores the importance of diverse roles in a team structure, as detailed in Chapter 1, ranging from Project Manager and Solution Architect to Business Analyst, Senior Developer, Developer, and Quality Analyst / Tester — recognizing the collective effort as crucial for automation success and timely delivery, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable automated processes. This aspect is often overlooked in the rush for quick deliveries and the challenges of limited resources.The book is clear, easy to follow, well-structured, and a valuable reference of practical experiences.

If you work with robotic process automation, this book is a must-read.
