Wish I bought this sooner
I purchased this for my grandson with dyslexia. Having difficult terms in physical science, biology etc was holding him back. Knowing what the material actually is has improved his understanding and his grades.

Can be translated offline
First thing to do: go into settings, cancel automatic shutdown, and select permanent. Otherwise, the experience will be greatly affected. Every time it is not used for a long period of time, it will automatically shut down, and will be turned on again the next time it is used. The startup process is very slow, so it will greatly affect the experience. Even if it never shuts down, it only loses about 5% of the battery every day, which is still acceptable. It's a bit big compared to my phone. It comes with a protective bag, and even helps you apply a screen protector, which is really thoughtful. Its resolution is neither too high nor too low. No pixels can be seen from a normal distance, but it is still pretty good. The viewing angle is also very strong, and the display effect will not be affected by going up, down, left, or right. Then to the most important question, function: The main reason why I bought it is that it can translate offline. Even if there is no network, it can translate text and support pronunciation. So even if your phone doesn’t have a network, it can still help you solve some translation problems. But the most regrettable thing is that in an environment without a network, it can only support the translation of text detected by the photometer. Input text translation, voice translation, photo translation, AI assistant, smart recording, etc. all require the Internet. If I need the Internet, why should I use it instead of my mobile phone?Secondly, its detection head cannot detect anywhere. It can easily detect the text on the display. Also, if the text is too large, it cannot detect it, and the sensitivity is also a bit poor. But it can scan text on a curved bottle, not necessarily text on a flat surface.Advantages: It comes with a rechargeable battery that can be charged using type-C, and it comes with a built-in speaker that can produce sound. Supports taking pictures (but the pixels are a bit low). I think it is a good tool for learning English for the elderly.

Useful resource
Pros:It does read to you.It will help those who are struggling.Cons:Your hand has to be stable enough to support and go over the text.Slow to use with going over text and reading back. But again, still a useful resource.

It is quite accurate but slow and needs internet to work
It is quite accurate as to recognize voice and scanning text from a book. The real issues is it requires internet to work. Most of time when I need to translate something, I am not at home and there is no wifi, and that is the reason to pick up a translator like this. If the translation needs wifi, what is the point of having this in the first place. Another thing is that the translation is kind of slow because it has to upload your voice or text to the internet and download the translation. Even the recognition and translation is quite accurate most of the time, the delay time is not very helpful in real conversation when you really need it.
