Removes hair quickly and easily
The Hair Off Face Buffer was a good price, and I figured I would give it a try knowing it was low cost. I didn't want an unpleasant cream of removal gel. Honestly they all smell terrible and very few work. Like many women I have a light coat of hair above my lip that is never noticed by anyone but myself. I also have two hairs under my chin that grow in now and again. I hate those because they are noticed by others. The Hair Off Face Buffer arrived fast and was packaged perfectly. I used it right away. First, the buffer top is easy to hold and shaped perfectly for ease of use. The buffer pad is smoother than I ever thought it would be. Honestly I was not sure it would work at all. To my surprise, it did work. It worked to remove both the upper lip hair and the two stubborn hairs beneath my chin. The hair stayed away for over a week. All I have to do now is use it once per week for just a few minutes and I am hair free. I also love that it leaves my skin feeling so smooth. I have never experienced any irritation from use. I do highly recommend giving the Hair Off Face Buffer a try.

You've gotta try it!
This is not my first purchase of the Hair Off Facial Buffer. For a while, it seemed to disappear from the shops, so I was so happy to find it on Amzon. This product works perfectly, as long as you do not expect it to work as quickly as shaving. You need to work slowly and lightly. Stop before you start getting carried away, wondering why you don't see "instant" results. The bonus you get for using this product slowly and carefully is that when hair starts to grow back, it won't be so sharp, because what little has been left behind is now weakened and softened. If you have patience, the pay-off is excellent and the best is it involves no chemicals on your skin. When used properly, this is a super product!

ALLERGIC TO LATEX? BE WARNED...
I've used this product for over ten years and have always loved it. I found it very effective as long as I was careful not to rub with it too vigorously. If you overdo with this it can rub a nasty burn especially on the skin at your lip line. I ordered a new set of these the other day and when it arrived I used it as usual and everything seemed pretty typical. An hour later though my upper lip line exploded into a full-on latex allergy reaction. Within an hour my lower lip line had gotten into the act, so by the end of the afternoon I looked like I had two fat lips! If you've ever experienced a latex allergy, you know that it doesn't go away quickly - the resulting dermatitis can last a week or more. I haven't experienced a reaction this bad in over a decade, not since my dentist accidentally wore latex gloves while working on me.I did notice when I took them out of the package that the buffer sheets looked different than in the past - they are a slightly different color and have a flower design printed on them. They feel slightly different too (I have an old one that I compared it to.) I guess they've changed the formula for the buffer sheets and now they include latex.PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 24 hours.

The best so far...
I tried this once a long time ago and I guess I hadn't gotten the hang of using it, so I never really saw the results I was looking for. Then I ran out of the little paper things and never was able to get refills, so I gave up on using it. I switched to facial hair remover creams and those would always burn my skin so bad and never showed any results. Then I switched to ready-to-use wax strips and saw OK results but it was too painful. So I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it another shot. Glad I did! I got great results this time! I don't know how it works...but it does! I go pretty slow in circular motions, switching from right to left and vice versa, using a magnifying mirror so I can get all the hairs...if you start to feel a little bit of stinging, stop rubbing and move to another spot otherwise you'll really irritate it and leave a red spot. There was a little bit of irritation and redness for a few hours after I used it but the day after, my skin was fine and still smooth. I think I'll just use this from now on and hopefully they don't stop selling it...would be nice to see the paper refills available, though!

Works on some types of hairs, but not on others
I've been looking for alternatives to shaving, and this product... sort of works. I found it worked on some of the finer hairs around my jawline, but it didn't do much for the thicker, coarser, more annoying hairs that I get (which are the ones I'm more concerned about from a hair-removal standpoint). So for people who don't have a lot of coarse hair they're looking to remove, this could be a useful product - but as for me, I won't be buying this type of hair removal product again any time soon.

Works
This product is Great. Used for years but then stores didn’t carry them. Don’t listen to the winners. Of course it hurts at first if u have facial hair. Just use it all the time and keep up with it. Rinse with cool water and apply lotion. Yes your face may be red for a few minutes after. I do it at night or if I am not going out right away in the morning. Buy it.

Why is hair removal so complicated?????? there's iPads and iPhones but no one can come up with something good for hair removal??
I've tried it on dry skin, on after-the-shower skin and either way, yeah, it smooths the skin but doesn't do much for the hair.Hm... There must be some magical formula to make it work??Haven't found it yet.Frankly, for a piece of plastic and a few rough-out stickers, this should cost $2 max.I am not sure I can recommend this. No, I can't. If it was foolproof then yes, but it's not.
