It makes pretty good waffles.
I usually get my mix from Trader Joe’s but they were out and I really wanted to make some waffles. I read the reviews and since it was on sale I decided to try it.End product, the waffles, tasted great. No weird chemical taste or any off taste. As for the dry mixture it didn’t have a chemical smell either which is usually the sign that it’s going to taste bad but not with this mix. I am very pleased as it had the right consistency while mixing and made the perfect textured waffles

The ONLY pancake mix I will ever use
This is my families favorite pancake mix! These are better than my homemade recipe and they are fluffy and have a little crisp every single time. Whenever I make pancakes our kitchen smells like we’re making waffle cones.

2 Meals per container
My kids raved about this mix. I made waffles for my husband and myself. I can do it one more time. No different than when I use Kreutzer pancake/waffle mix except way more expensive. Maybe a little sweeter. Probably won't buy it again.

They're THAT good
Okay - these pancakes are absolutely delicious. You can't buy pancake mix like this in any grocery store. This is restaurant quality pancake mix, and with buttermilk, they are off the charts. With the 16 oz container, batter goes quickly. I made pancakes Saturday and Sunday, and I'm almost out of mix. Might not be something you can afford to continually supply yourself, but for a weekend breakfast treat, this mix is it. Look no further. Guaranteed.

Very Good Flavor But Pricey
Even though we've been using the Krusteaz brand Belgian waffle mix for years, I decided to try this item. There's no doubt that the flavor and texture of this mix was at least as good as the Krusteaz mix. However, I could only give this item a "satisfactory" for the following reasons:The cost per ounce is high - 16 ounces for about $9.00 or, about $0.56/ounce. A 28 ounce box of the Krusteaz mix is about $2.00, or, $0.07/ounce. Of course, some of the high cost of the Stonewall is probably due to extra shipping costs. In the 16 ounce Stonewall package, there are only about 2 servings based upon the recipe calling for 1 cup per serving. The recipe noted that the number of waffles per serving would depend upon the size of the waffle iron. Yet, a single serving would barely be sufficient for 3 people. The recipe called for 2 TBSPs of melted butter. In addition to the extra effort to melt the butter, we use Canola Oil with the Krusteaz's mix. So, there may be some nutritional concerns for some.Summarizing, if they would make Stonewall in a larger package and cheaper, I would buy again.
