Left a horrible sticky residue in my hair and made hair stiff. I had to rewash with a different shampoo

I found this shampoo was just too rich for my hair, but the smell of it is absolutely gorgeous. I've decided to use it as a body wash instead and it has been perfect, leaving my skin really soft. The packaging is also lovely, it looks very smart in the bathroom.

Leaves beard and hair soft and sleek. Smells lovely and a tiny bit goes a long way making it good value. Really impressed and have purchased again.

This is definitely one of the best shampoos I have ever used on my hair . It left my hair feeling really luxurious and well hydrated and, even though I live in a hard water area I did not need to use conditioner as well. I also left it on my hair for a while and massaged it deep into the roots.For me the fragrance was beautiful, though some may find it overpowering on the coconut front but for me the different herbal combinations of Coconut and Tiger Herb work.Due to it being very expensive for a 250ml bottle it is not something I would purchase regularly, especially as , living in a hard water area I needed 6 pumps to get a good lather. However, as I am fortunate in that I only need to wash my hair every 5 or 6 days it would last about 3 months.I would use this as a treat for my hair to rejuvenate it every few washes.After using this shampoo for a few weeks I have updated the review as the issue I have discovered with it is that it leaves a thick residue on my hair that has built up over the last couple of weeks and so I have had to use other shampoos with suffactants in to wash the residue out.Yes it's good as an occasional shampoo but not as a regular shampoo.

One of the nicest shampoos I've used for a long time. This has all the hallmarks of quality and good value for money. The shampoo has a lovely texture that lathers immediately and produces a strong scent of coconut when applied. IT's initially very noticeable, but soon fades after a few hours when dry.The shampoo does not strip clean, and I noted that it's impossible to get a 'squeaky-clean rinse after using it. THis is because it has built in moisturisers and conditioners that leave my hair feeling soft and silky without stripping all the oil out of it.I'm very pleased with this shampoo. Other aspects that make it a must have are the vegan, cruelty free testing and attention to protecting wildlife. IT's a treat to be able to use a product that promotes my own values, especially when so much senesless animal testing is carried out by the cosmetics industry.It's an expensive shampoo, but when using it and considering its excellent formulation, ethics and conditioning features, I think its worth the extra. My hair and scalp feel more relaxed after using it and I feel it has a less damaging affect on my skin and scalp.
