Q: can this Junction Box be submerged underwater for months?

It says IP68. That system means: The 6 being the highest protection from solids (dust etc.). The 8 being all but the highest protection from water (i.e. extended immersion under higher pressure), the manufacturer will stipulate the exact conditions and tests used.

Q: Can I use this with 2.5mm twin and earth?

Hi , the answer to your question would have to be no I'm afraid . The twin and earth would be too big and the cable grip is intended for round flex and so it wouldn't be able to form a water tight connection on the flat profile twin and earth .

Q: Can i use this with a 3 core 1.5mm armoured cable in and a standard 3 core cable out?

Yes....it can operate with various diameter flex and you get different sizes of compressible seals with it. Standard connection block inside so connects easy
