Good affordable option
Reallt like this top tank cover bc it was affordable and contains my frogs in my tank that how plants growing outside the top. Be prepared to have more condensation with an “open tank”. Follow the instructions, trim your pieces first and then use the buddy system to get the fabric goot and tight.

Best Tank Lid
This is an amazing lid for your tank. My floating plants get air and won’t die off, my fish can’t jump out, and the cats won’t sit on the lid and crash into the tank (like the previously owned glass lid). Is easy to open and close and was easy to set up. Love it!!!

Good enough for the price
Covers the tank, but has very weak magnets. The frame also seems to change shape and size by itself, sometimes needing restretched to fit the tank

Works, easy to assemble, looks surprisingly nice
This turned out a lot less ugly than I thought it would be. It's not beautiful, but if I'd paid $20 for the finished product, I'd have been pleasantly surprised. It was a fun silly little fish project. I needed a hood, but I don't like the look of them and I have an overhead light that I didn't want to replace. This is NOT suited for other animals. If I'd used this for my baby corn snake's tank, she'd escape right away. Fish only. This is not a cheaper substitute for a proper reptile tank lid and would be very unsafe. It wasn't hard to put together - the instructions aren't entirely useless, but I think clearer photos/no text would be an improvement. It's the kind of instruction sheet you either puzzle over for an hour or say "huh, okay" and forget about. I took the latter route, it's pretty straightforward. I cut all the pieces out, stuck the magnetic strips down on the tank edge, stuck the grooved strip on top, and put the corner brackets on the top strip before holding the netting tightly and smushing it all together. I cut a slit in one corner for the heater cord, and a slit along the back edge for the filter when I was done, and the netting didn't sag and fall in like I'd worried it would. The option for putting the magnetic strip around the side is a nice idea, but sounds like it would be a pain to get in and out the tank for water changes, moving things, etc., and the way they suggest to make a little door just looks a bit flimsy and off. I wouldn't recommend this for a rimless tank. The holes in the net are small enough (about 4mm - maybe the O on your keyboard?) to keep my adventurous guppies inside their liquid where they belong, but they're big enough that I don't need to lift the lid to feed them. They won't get stuck when they jump. The netting is pretty strong, it's not flimsy. It's a nice material.I was also surprised by just how much there was. I have a 20 gallon long tank, and I'd looked at the measurements listed and thought "eh, sure, that sounds like enough!" and I easily have enough to do another tank.I used a boxcutter to cut the edges as close as I could, but the very edge of the netting is visible, and it's obvious that it's multiple strips stuck onto a magnet. That's my only complaint. It'd be nice if there was some kind of finishing strip to hide the edges, but I paid like $15 for this on Prime day, so I'm keeping it and it gets 4 stars.

Great cover for my 20 gallon fish aquarium
Got this for my 20 gallon fish aquarium that I have two large lace catfish in, I love it because I also have live plants. You have to put it together but once you get it together which is relatively easy it is perfect because you can adjust it however you want it.

Netting sucks
The netting received was not the same as what was advertised. I received a black cloth like material that would block most of the light to the aquarium. I had to order the clear monofilament mesh from a different company thus adding more money, time, and frustration to accomplish what I thought I was getting to begin with.

A perfect aoluction
This is an awesome product for that is perfect for any size tank. I purchased it primarily because I have a hang on the back tank and could not find a cover that would accommodate what I needed. I have a mystery snail tank and I needed something that they would not climb out of the water and the tank. It is very easy to install, the magnets are very strong, the netting is strong a great value. I will definitely purchase for any other tank I have the need for.

Not worth it.
Easy to assemble and works if you have a tank you don’t open often.. but if you need to open/close often, don’t get it. Got it for my axolotl tank just to keep the cats away and it’s honestly awful. Worst purchase I’ve made for them yet. Always falls in when I try to put it back on. The clips fall off. It’s just not meant for a tank you open a lot.
