Lonely Planet France Planning Map

We all rely on google maps and sat nav these days without looking at "the bigger picture" when planning a trip : this is the third one of these I have bought so far (Portugal, Spain & France) ... it's easy to plan a route when travelling long-distances (better than the old-style A3 sized, spiral bound road atlases where you're constantly flipping through pages!) ... we travelled from Caen, down to Bordeaux, into Spain to Salamanca, over to Lisbon and then down the Algarve (and back!) using these maps just using sat nav for traffic and the "tricky" bits. Wish LP did Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, etc ... maybe one day?

Good map. Not as clear as I expected. Would have liked some more ideas for touring with older children.

Very disappointed in this map, there is very little detail and not enough information to plan any kind of trip.

there are no road numbers on the map! Im not sure what its actually for? You cannot use it to plan a route when riding / driving. Have sent off for a proper map.

As you can see. This map is not something you can use for a road trip. Most of the roads aren’t even labelled. Not actually sure what the point of the map is to be honest.
