Lacor 4 Mesh Sieve Interchangeable 20 Cm, Stainless Steel, Silver

I have had this sieve for eighteen months, very versatile, sturdy and as good as new but I am pleased I purchased the 25 Cm version. Would recommend.

I bought this as a replacement for a poorly made but much larger sieve that had previously failed. It's entirely my fault as the size was clearly listed too, but despite being well made, I still wish I'd bought something large enough to accommodate a full-sized plate beneath it since it doesn't really have sufficient height to accommodate a bowl.To be clear, this is a well-made product with no signs of letting loose at the seams as is so often the case with these sieves; just entirely my fault for not reading the dimensions before purchasing.

Excellent product. I have used it to sift wholemeal flour and making jam Using the finest sieve gave me about 85% of the grain, leaving out the larger husk bits. Makes a very nice healthy loaf.For blackberry jam I used a larger sieve to strain out the pips. Worked a treat.The sieves are very sturdy and easy to replace and clean. I am very pleased with this product.

Does the job, but the 'biggest' mesh (the one with the largest holes) seems to have been welded into the ring / case. The images on this page to seem to suggest that all four meshes can be removed, but that doesn't appear to be the case - at least for mine.Not a show stopper - the finer meshes seem to fit on top ok, so you can still use them.
