MEDICOLORReplacement for N30i Medium Nasal Cushion, Soft Curved Cradle Around The Nose, Snug Fit & No Leaks

I’ve been using the latest Resmed model and have noticed two design flaws: 1) the front vent panel occasionally pops out while I’m sleeping, so when I wake up, the CPAP has turned itself for an unknown period of time; 2) the cushion presses in on the sides of my nostrils, obstructing air flow. This alternative cushion fits well, is comfortable, and has neither of those defects.

I had been using the Resmed N30i nose pillows and I started getting bright red marks around my nose and mouth and small water blisters. I switched to the Medicolor nose pillow and it is so much better. I am not getting the marks anymore so I am assuming I am allergic to the latex in the N30i. This one uses silicone so no reaction. I did find that the Medicolor is a little tighter than my usual small size so I ordered the medium and it worked out great.

I think the fit is great, actually like it better than the OEM but since CPAPs provide you numbers/stats I can see that it is leaking twice as much and I can feel the air escaping from the front of the nose piece. Not sure what to do but wish it wasn't the case cause it fits so nicely.

This version is so much better than the new OEM version. Fits slightly snugger (I wear medium) but that is a good thing. I don't have to constantly reset the seating on my nose, so it doesn't leak like it tends to with the OEM version as the OEM version wears out so fast. To top it off this is a fraction of the cost. I'm sold.

It seemed to work initially but after a couple of nights it started to leak- not only out of the front- but also from the cushion and shooting air out from the top toward my eyes. I went back to the OEM.
