Q: Does the wood/bamboo burn/char over time due to launching/serving from the high temperature pizza oven?

Hi! Thanks so much for your question. You will see a very slight charring on the bottom edge of the peel over time when you are launching. This is the same for all wood peels however it doesn’t not affect performance at all. Best Regards, Tom, Slyced

Thanks for your question! You can cut on the ‘serve’ side for sure, just try not to cut on the launch side as it can create friction when trying to launch in future! Best of luck on your pizza journey.
