Georges Lalo 13746t Chocolate Scented Ink, 30 ml, 4.90 x 4.90 x 52 cm brown

Scent lasts longer than expected. Pretty color.

I loved it. The rich color the chocolate scent and the little dip in the bottle. Great ink.

I've purchased the violet, chocolate brown and red rose. All are lovely colors and good quality ink, and the scents are as follows: VIOLET - strong and unpleasant in the bottle, but then I don't like floral scents much. I gave it away. CHOCOLATE - weak even in the bottle, and doesn't smell as rich or full-bodied as actual chocolate. Wouldn't buy again. ROSE - rich, romantic, true-to life, and strong enough to smell when using a medium nib fountain pen, as well as a few days later on the pages of a closed journal. The aromatherapeutic scent is perfect for self-affirmations and journaling around self-love and compassion. I'll keep buying this one as long as it's available. For stronger, more complex and lasting scents, I recommend all 4 colors in the higher end "Jacques Herbin" scented ink line.

Lovely scent and pretty color. Another well-behaved Herbin ink.

I have 2 other colors from the line, the lavender scented blue ink and the rose scented red ink and I love them both. I was looking forward to using this one and while it writes fine just after you load it into a converter and pen. If it sits for a week or so the ink seems to jam in the fountain pen and will not flow to write. I’ve had this happen with 2 different converters and I am very disappointed in the product.

I received the scented ink and although it smells OK, the people to whom I showed them could not identify what the smells is.

Color: It's a scented version of another of their inks, Terre de feu. This is a pale oxblood (more red than brown) and approximates the color of Dutch process cocoa powder. Scent: There is the faintest hint of cocoa if you smell directly from the bottle, but nothing otherwise. While I did not expect the scent to stay on paper, most of Herbin's scented inks are strongly perfumed and you can smell their fragrances as you write. This did not have that effect for me.
