V-Moda Xl Cushions for Over-Ear Headphones - Black

The original V Moda M-100 DJ headphones hurt my ears, as the ear pads were way too small.After 4 years, my original pads needed replacing. V-Moda sent me an email advertising the XL ear pads.Tried ordering from their US Website (registration, customs and shipping too complicated, takes too long and costs too much)I was over the moon to see them on AMAZON.UK at £18.00 with free Prime next day shipping.My Best quality / value purchase of the year!

I've had my Vmodas LP2s for around 10 years now and these cushions have made them so much nicer to wear. The noise cancelling has never been particularly good on these as they're semi open backed, but I can't complain about the cushions at all as that's not what they're designed to do. Would say that the sound signature of the headphones changed slightly with these as the volume of air around your ears changes, but this isn't a bad thing and they still sound mint!

I find theres a improvement in comfort and sound. Very slightly. I have seen claims of massive percentages. The headphones should use these as standard. I listen to more music now rather than just dj with them

This is a must buy for anyone who purchased the Crossfade M100s. The stock pads are uncomfortable which is one of the only downsides of an otherwise excellent pair of headphones.These XL pads are MUCH more comfortable and provide better noise isolations.Slightly negative effect on sonics, however not noticeable to the average user/untrained ear.

Definitely more comfortable than the standard cushions on the crossfade m-100 master. I have a big head and big ears, these make the headset so much more comfortable.And easy to install! Look up a video, the cushions have an unusual plastic ring that slots into little plastic clips on the headphone. It does not take very much pressure to connect and I can see how others could have broken theirs by pressing too hard.

Reasonably priced - does everything as advertised. Should be the standard cushions that come with over-ear V-MODA headphones IMO.I bought these as I use my V-MODAs (Crossfade 2 Wireless) ALL THE TIME. Long gaming sessions, longer streaming sessions and even longer long-haul flights.The added comfort alone (standard was fine but these are better) was worth the investment. The improved sound quality and depth of sound-stage is a huge added bonus.Frustrating I couldn't order Black ones for speedy delivery but the Grey ones look really cool with the Rose-Gold theme my headphones are rocking. Changing the cushions is easy but I recommend you watch a YouTube tutorial on how to do so before trying it.10/10 recommendation from me.

These xl pads are an absolute must. I have had my v-moda m-100 headphones for over 2 years with the original pads. LOVE the Sound and really good with all Electronic music- the bass booms without feeling muddy or bloated...just what I wanted...with the new pads an unexpected surprise the soundstage has opened up further. The race by Yello really shows this off....better stereo imaging and still with the driving bass and I didn't have the cost of importing from the states...easy to change the pads and super comfortable...an easy 5 stars :)
