I've outfitted all of our rover poles with these, since we almost always use them in the dirt rather than on hard surfaces. Haven't had a problem, and the height seems spot on compared with the cone points that they replaced. Note, we are not surveyors, but engineers who use high precision GPS systems to measure locations and elevations for soil borings, etc.

Nothing more to say than the machining and surface coating seems to be proper.

My Leica L2G has a small mounting screw. This adapter allows me to mount it to a standard tripod.Great price, perfect tool!I wish it were painted in a bright color to reduce the risk of losing it.

The adapter is fine but the description says "package of two". I only received one. Doesn't really matter since I only needed one.

Solid well made rod point .... the only complaint would be that the point is not quite as sharp as some I have had. It is "pointy" enough but slightly sharper would be a benefit for setting tacks in hubs.

After ordering a similar item with the wrong thread pitch from someone else, I got it right with this one. Just wish it were knurled.

This was the only adapter that worked for my PLS HVL 100 with 5/8 thread. It is pricy, but it was the correct fit for that laser.P.S. I don't know why they see them in pairs...

The female 5/8 thread does not have an adequate recess. It does not fit my prism pole properly. There is a gap between the top of the point and the bottom of my pole when fully tightened because of this deficiency. The gap could be filled with a washer, or the top of the thread could be machined or drilled out to provide proper relief. This would not be necessary if it had been made correctly. I will modify the point rather than return it. I show my original point in the photos to show how the recess should have been made. Except for this deficiency, the point would be fine.
