Amazing STEM toy!
Bought for my just-turned-4 year old for Christmas and she LOVES it! After showing her once or twice she can independently use the drill to take the screws/tires off and on.The drill is a soft “wirring” sound- which is great when your little has sound sensitivities.Tip: put the AA battery in the drill before wrapping - if its a gift :)

So much comes in it!
Lots of things to drill. Lots of side accessories. Even the box is part of the toy. Cute and good value. Crane and wrecking ball options for the toddler who wants both.

Cool Toy but Some Major Design Issues!
This toy definitely had the potential to be a great kids toy but design issues started to reveal themselves the more our toddler played with it. Our toddler enjoyed putting this crane truck together himself and enjoyed how the screws and accessories could be used in a variety of ways. This allowed for creative play. Our toddler enjoyed using the hand drill to screw the tires on and off the truck but this also prevents the tires from spinning properly so he got frustrated when he couldn't push and drive the truck as smoothly as his other toy vehicles. Overall the plastic body of the truck seems strong however its edges are not as rounded as popular brand name toys like Fisher Price. The string used to attach the hook and wrecking ball is basically just kitchen twine. The string has unravelled numerous times since our toddler likes to drag the truck around by the wrecking ball to knock down his block towers. Fortunately, there are screws that allow access to the internal workings and we were able to replace the twine as needed. Our toddler likes the attachments that can be placed on the hook but some are made of plastic and others are made of cardboard. The cardboard loops that attach to the hook needed to be taped up after only a few uses. After about 6 months of use the peg that joins the base of the truck to the swivelling crane box and arm snapped off. We attempted to fix it with super glue but it did not hold. Now the truck is in two pieces and essentially unusable. See attached images. Not only is this a pricey product it did not stand up to regular toddler use. It's unfortunate because our toddler really loved it until it fell apart.

A quality, educational toy!
This is a cute truck that is also educational. Kids get to learn plus pretend. I like that the truck encourages motor skills, hand eye coordination, and imagination. Kids get to use the drill to put together the truck (or the parent can do it). The drill takes require batteries (need a small Phillips screwdriver to remove and replace the screw). The little people are adorable. You get two people and one cat. I love that the cat can sit in the cab of the truck. The crane does work (goes up and down plus the wrecking ball on the end moves). All the parts are well-made. I like that kids get to learn how to put different pieces together (learn logic skills). They need to figure out how to get the wheels on and fasten them for example. The box can be used as a playset. There are instructions. I found that pieces on the box did not want to stay in place and that was just opening/closing the box. I picked up this toy as a gift for a neighbor’s three year old son. He loves trucks and cars so I knew this toy would be a hit. It is a child friendly toy. Parents can have fun with their kids putting the truck together. The toy is a little pricey. It is a well-made, educational toy. Kids will have fun with this crane.

Good to develop dexterity with the drill. Cute figures. Nice bulky shapes for little hands.
I got this for my 4 yo Grandson. He's received basic 'drill toys' in the past - e.g., put together one dinosaur - but this is good because the toy affords more play once complete. The pieces are nice and 'oomphy' - good for holding up to repeated play and good for little hands to manipulate. The two included workers are 'cute' and each head rotates for a different facial expression. You can also switch the helmets between the two workers. The set includes multiple pieces to drill in (or drill in/take out and repeat), Once assembled there's really unlimited play --- child can set up legos or lincoln logs or blocks or really any toys and then use the wrecking ball to knock everything over, or use the crane to lift and build, etc.The box that it arrives in is meant to be used as part of the play - basically folding the stiff cardboard to become the construction site. You will need an adult to insert the batteries into the drill and to assist with putting the stickers on the crane (well, a child can attach stickers but you've basically got one shot to put them on neatly, so take that into consideration). Also, probably best for an adult to fold the box to create the construction site.I would say that this is a fun toy up to about ages 6 or 7. I can see it getting a lot of use and would make a great gift.Happy with this product!
