This is a Shimano bike rear derailleur, suitable for 6/7 speed, and it arrives in a robust cardboard box.The main issue with this is that the listing is confusing, as it refers to a direct mount, but it is a hanger mount, and that’s a fairly big mistake to make. The derailleur itself appears to be very well made, good quality and a genuine part. I can’t tell if it’s been painted or powder-coated but the finish is good. The adjusters are easy to access, simple to identify and are responsive in use. All-in-all, it’s a decent bit of kit.At the time of writing this review, the cost is £15.99, and that’s a competitive price for what you get.

As you would expect from Shimano, a high-quality bike Rear Derailleur that works on every gear change. The adjusters are extremely easy to get to. The single direct mount is extremely easy to connect the unit to the bike. The worst part was getting the chain onto the guide rollers where you get a bit oily. But once the chain is on, it works well. A great upgrade to an unbranded Derailleur.
