Amcrest is a great product for the money! It also has very good customer service to setup the app. It was easy to install the cameras. Very satisfied with the picture quality, night vision, quality and range.

I've been using this for many years now, and it always works as it should.

Metal housing, in service for a few weeks, so far, no problems. Setup through web interface using standard browser, no plugins. Compatible with iSpy Agent dvr.

I have had Amcrest cameras in the past. The physical cameras are good quality. The issue with this system is it’s not very user friendly. You need to have a ton of patience to get the cameras to connect to NVR. The interface is terrible no matter what platform to use. The physical NVR does not even provide the user with all the functionality of what the camera can do. When you use a tablet to connect, options are available but it says it’s not supported. When you use a smartphone, half the functionality is shown. A laptop is your best option but even with that, it continues to crash before you’re able to access the web interface to get into the settings of each camera to program. Their IT support is absolutely trash. Literally can’t understand a single person due to very thick accent and you’re calling overseas so reception is horrible and they can’t wait to get off the call. Even had one of their support staff tell me the camera lightisn’t motion activated even though it’s the main reason I bought these cameras. Took several days to troubleshoot and install not including physically mounting them.Best advice is DO NOT put a password on any camera or Device until it’s been fully installed and operational as you might need to reset the system several times to install. Also the ability to bring up images is terrible often can’t connected. It fails to connect to camera.

I've used Amcrest for a long time! These are HIGH QUALITY CAMS!! I can't say it's equal to the 4K cam because it's Ultra HD. It's still worth the price for a 5MP cam. The AI on these cams is outright AWESOME. I have had only 1 false alarm and it was easily fixed in IVS adjusting my minimum size.

So far Amcrest has been the most solid IP POE cameras I have. Great app. And excellent on-camera management (through it's on-camera IP login). Good consistent and reliable connectivity. It's more expensive than others but you can tell more work had gone into it's ease of use and support. Recommend over Foscam. I've also tried Forwch, which is similar but cheaper, if you're on a tight budget, however more knowledge is required with little support.
