First off the bad point- Item was not new, it was clearly a return the inner plastic packaging was ripped open and there are signs that a lens has been fitted. Come on Amazon if you are selling returns please mark and discount as such!Now the good bit- It works perfectly with my Leica M (tp240) and Canon 35mm f/2 ltm lens bringing the focus index to the correct point at 12 O'clock unlike my previous adapter (Voigtlander branded) which put the focus index around 2 O'clock.Focus distance when using my camera's rangefinder is perfect both at closest focus and at infinity.Given that it is so well aligned with this camera and lens I am holding on to it though it still smarts that this is not a new product and was sold as such.

So, it does fit, but maybe a bit too well. I attached the adapter to a 39mm Screw mount lens (1938 Leitz 50mm Collapsible) ) then attached the lens and adapter to a new M body.Removing the lens was easy but the adapter mount stayed on the body. I had a few anxious moments trying to remove it , using quite a bit of force. This was partly due to the retaining lug on the old lens being worn, and partly due to the adapter being a very snug fit into the M bayonet mount. But it does work, and I had the pleasure of shooting with a very old 50mm.I guess if I used it regularly it would ease up.

Adapter works perfectly for me bringing up the correct frame lines ( in this case 35mm) on my M2. Price and finish both very attractive

Excellent product at reasonable price. Russian LTM mount lens centred correctly when fitted. Less well engineered mounts tend not to ..
