I ran over it!
Ran over it with my car. And it's still working perfectly... A very good product

Great Budget flashlight
I have been using this light for about a month now and love it. The brightness is great, battery life is killer, and the magnet strength is superb. I use it in an industrial setting and I will forever buy this flashlight.

great, almost perfect pen light
Very handy little light. The magnet is strong enough to hold it completely horizontal, it's plenty bright to work under. Has held up well with daily use, though I only use it for ~15 minutes at a time to hook double-trailers at night.Usb-c charging and battery indicator are much appreciated. The rubber cover over the USB port has held up nicely with regular use.The features are great, my biggest complaint is the layout of the light. The button is difficult to feel with gloved hands, but it's on the same side as the flood light instead of the back where you'd normally be looking at. The clip should be on the other end, if you have it clipped to your shirt pocket and look down the spot light is pointed at your face. And there's no way to turn on the floodlight without first turning on the spotlight.

Best monotasking tool I own
This little light has earned its pay. It has two emissive areas, a good magnet and a good clip. Light it provides is illuminating and not glaring. I use both illumination zones often in my work. My only complaint is that the button is on the opposite side to traditional flashlights, and I've accidentally turned it on directly into my eye a few times. But that's just operator error. :P

Works well, but a little fragile
I've been using this light quite a bit for the last 2 months. The light itself works very well. I've dropped it a few times and within the first month the magnet cap had broken off. (I used a hot glue gun and it seems to be stronger than originally) The trim around the other end has cracked now. I'll probably glue that too. I'd say it's overall fine for general use, but there's definitely room for improvement. I'll probably look for something a little stronger than this next time.

A Great Little Light
Coast makes a great flashlight and I've had them for and at home for years. This is my first pen light with a magnetic end and a small light panel. I've used it only a few times but so far I'm impressed. It doesn't put out a lot of light and I do not recommend this one if you're out walking around at night. It only lights up a small area in front of you.On first impression, the light is lightweight and made of hard plastic. But it is made well. It feels good. It’s a bit weird at first holding this light. It's not a standard shape light. It reminds me of a carpenter's pencil. On the back, you will find a clip to put in a shirt or tool pocket. At the other end you will find green LED status lights that light up when charging or in use. At the very of the light, you will find a rubber cover that has the USB-C port.On the same end as the port you will find the penlight and it's great for lighting up small areas. When you flip the light over you will find the power button and the flood light. Click the button and it turns on the penlight. Click again the penlight turns off the flood turns on. Click it again the flood gets brighter. One more and it turns off. The flood light is bright and works great in a small workspace. If you are under the hood of your car it might help light it enough to work on it in an emergency. The charger is fast and it holds a charge for a while. I had it running for about an hour as I did various projects and it still shows a full charge and the light got warm to the touch.I used the light to light up my laptop as I changed out the RAM. It worked great. I will be adding it to my gear bag.

After 8 months the power switch is inconsistent
The media could not be loaded. I have been a big fan of Coast products and have recommended them to others for years. This flashlight is the lone exception to all the other great Coast lights and knives that I’ve used. I never really fell in love with it from day one but now the push button power switch has become nearly impossible to use. I have to push it again and again and at different angles in attempting to get it to work. Sometimes I just give up after 20 seconds of trying but usually if I stick with it for long enough I do eventually get it to work.I used to carry this light-weight light in my pocket all day. But after a few episodes of frustration, I finally gave up and now carry this little KL20R instead. This is one Coast product I can not recommend.

Super cool!
This little square shaped penlight is super cool! It is fairly thin but grippy in your hands so it won't slip out easily. It has a bright LED light at one end and then a rectangular lights on the other side. The end light is like a traditional flashlight, it has a strong light beam. The other light is more of a lamp and will light up an area quite easily. The lamp light has a couple different settings to make it bright or super bright. It has some other handy features such as a ruler on one edge. It's fully rechargeable and includes a small USB type C cord and it has a covered rubberized little latch to plug the USB C cord in to. The other end cap is magnetized so you can attach it to a metal object so you don't have to hold it in your hand.
