I had some expired medications and one that I never took at all. I couldn't find anywhere around here that would take and dispose of them. I ordered this product. The first one was open inside the pack and the powder spilled out when I opened it. Amazon sent a replacement immediately. Now I can put the pills in this bottle, add warm water, shake, and then dispose of it in the trash. It's a large bottle and can handle 500 pills, way more than I have, but glad I found it.

This worked great for getting rid of a bunch of old prescriptions! I couldn’t find anywhere to drop them off and found these on Amazon. Thought I’d give them a try! They really hold a lot in each bottle! I will definitely be buying them again!

There's not a whole lot to say; it does what's it's supposed to do. If you have reservations about flushing old medicine down the toilet (especially if you have a septic tank), this will get the job done!

A super way to get rid of unneeded medications.

I like the idea of this. I really could have used this when my mom passed away and I had to get rid of all of her meds (though I probably would have needed several of these, and taking them to the drug-takeback day was much cheaper). I had hoped this would have some sort of way to put in a partial prescription and neutralize it, then add more later. I don't tend to need to get rid of 500 pills at once, but they build up over time. If I can keep this out of reach of others, it will probably take me years to fill this. My concern right now is the little ones (ages 2.5 and 5) who already can undo "child proof" caps. I really don't want them to find a whole bunch of pills, some of which are brightly colored like candy. If there was a way to portion out the powder and neutralize, say, 50 pills at a time instead of all at once, I'd probably love this. What I may do is at the next family gathering, encourage all of us to bring our expired or unused meds and see if we can fill the bottle. That could be a good family tradition, to clean out our medicine cabinets every year or so.

This is a great way for you to easily and quickly dispose of old or unwanted medication. I have accumulated a small mountain of old, expired, and unneeded medication from myself and all of my family members and this looks to be a relatively good way to get rid of all that in a responsible way. It’s a good way to get rid of unwanted medication, but the only real drawback is the price. If the price can come down more or the capacity can be increased, then this would be a perfect product.

Had a few big pills and it still held alot and very easy to use and dispose of.
