Absolutely great. I've been doing a lot of travel as of late, and I'm a big tea drinker. Which is a real problem when you live and mostly travel in the US, because the vast majority of the tea you get in hotels is crap, and they almost never have a decent way of just getting the hot water you need.I bought this thing as an experiment, and I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly. Does about a cup and a bit, which makes it perfect for either your own mugs or hotel sized insulated disposable cups. It's nice and quick, and it's astonishingly quiet. When I used it the first time I wasn't entirely sure I had it turned on, because it didn't make any noise at all till almost the moment it finished. A single loud beep is your indication the water's done boiling, at which point you can just unscrew the lid and pour. I do wish it had some kind of spout, but that's a minor gripe at most. Once dried out, you can store the plug inside it and stick it in your suitcase, ready for the next trip. I'll be using this thing for a good long time to come.

Great product. I know it goes to 212 degrees but when it’s boiling, it’s ready for me. I had a slight issue with registering the online warranty and the customer service response was immediate. I had a follow up question about the product and had an immediate response. That means A LOT to me these days. Read the directions though! Don’t boil it with the lid on at high altitude (like I live at) and just wipe the outer part of the kettle with a towel, don’t rinse it. If you have to stop the kettle midway before it boils, turn it off and unplug it before restarting it, then you won’t get an error code. Make sure the inside is dry before you pack it in the case because you need to put the electric cord inside the kettle to pack it. It’s sturdy and well made and nice looking. I use it for my portable French press when I travel and I’m very happy. Hotel coffee or tea in hotel rooms or breakfast buffets is not good so if you want your coffee or tea in your PJs in your room in style, get this kettle!

Update: I have now taken this on several trips, international flights as well as domestic road trips and I can now say I will have one of these with me on every journey from here on out! (I may even get one just to keep in my trunk ‘emergency’ provisions along with a little bag of tea & honey packets & an extra travel mug.)So convenient, So quick, so easy, perfect for my needs while traveling/away from home. Being an avid tea drinker, I always want/need to have access to/ability to make myself one when the need/want arises without having to depend on getting hot water from somewhere/someone else. On multiple occasions this came in clutch and I was so very grateful & happy to have it! (As were my travel companions who benefited too) Just follow the directions and guidelines for use. I choose the second temp setting and it has been the ‘just right’ for me. The max fill amount fills my travel thermos/mug exactly, so no complaints, practically perfect in every way. Exactly what I needed and wanted for my upcoming trips! Sleek, easy to operate, love the included travel pouch. So happy to have found it, just finished cleaning cycles, boiled quickly and will be put to use very soon. I’ll update after travel use, so glad I won’t be stuck without ability to easily have hot water for my tea no matter where I might be. Will be a permanent addition to my carry on bag.
