It’s certainly waterproof, but highly inefficient since it’s not designed to wrap around and hug a mattress. It’s more or less a small tarp that’s incredibly difficult to keep in place. It gets 2 stars for the waterproofness alone.Not a bed sheet. Just a sheet.
