Worth it's asking price - and then some.
Now this... this is an IEM worth $99. Great accessories, great cable, great sound. This is the most comfortable and well presented IEM I have heard for under $100. The tonal balance through the mids and highs is spot on and decently detailed. The bass extends pretty deep, but the quantity of the bass is a little much, especially in the 150-200 Hz range. If you can handle this with a little bit of EQ on your phone or desktop, these are hard to beat. The case they come with is really nice and convenient. They feel nice in the hand but also feel sturdy enough that I don't feel uncomfortable taking them around town with me (though I always put them back in their case when not in use). For what iBasso is trying to do here, I think they've hit a home run. High quality cable, high quality packaging, and a mostly really cohesive sound signature with elevated bass. A very easy product to recommend.

Buttery smooth, rumbling bass; faithful rendering of electronic, jazz, pop, contemporary rock
Phenomenal IEMS, I can't believe I spent only $100 on this pair. By far amazing quality in sound signature, build and the included cable is just beautiful, especially considering it is hand-braided. It's very clear that iBasso takes pride in craftsmanship and the minute details. It's not clear in the images but the black version actually has a dark, smoky casing so you can kind-of see the internals which is neat.I'm mostly an electronic music fan but also listen to plenty of vocals-heavy music, so I'll comment on how my flavor of music sounds to those that are looking for that purpose. These excell with flying stars in the electronic department. Definitely a 'V' shaped sound signature and response. Very lively, explosive, punchy mid-bass and WOW the low bass is going to rumble your socks off. Very accurate lows and quick responsive and colorful but not harsh highs. Separation is decent but certainly not what you'd get with a balanced armature driver type IEM, though very surprising for a dynamic driver which probably has something to do with the cool tech iBasso used for a lightweight and responsive diaphragm.Over all a splendid sounding IEM for the price.

Superb SQ for the price, MMCX needs a lot work - Over all not a qualified consumer product
I'm very satisfied with the sound stage, the lows, mids and highs. Vocal is a bit back(some says recessed, i don't think it is that bad). Clarity is pretty good. I don't use my big cans as often as I did before. However, as good as its stock cable is, the MMCX connection is not reliable at all. Like the other buyers has found out, they are either too loose or too tight. In my case, the right ear could easily come off. Whatever adjustments iBasso has done to fix the over tight connection, it was overdone. I'm always worried about losing it or stop working one day.Edit: 2 months into this IEMs, the right ear piece came of when it was in my pocket and was lost for good. If you have read other reviews, you know it's a common issue for the product. At the end of the day, this is a consumer but not a experimental product. From my experience, the defect design of MMCX connection make the product below consumer grade, meaning it should not be on the market until such defect is fixed.

Great, deep bass, but a little fiddly to wear. Amazing sound for a hundy!
Update 11/8/18: Took off a star. As I continue to use these and compare them to my full-size headphones (is that fair? time will tell), I just notice too much harshness in the midrange. They still have amazing bass and remain awesome for g-funk, rock, pop (like Sia), and other bass/V-shaped loving stuff, but for fuller material like jazz, classical, or folk, I'm going to try for different IEM's. Original review remains below. You'll see I mention the midrange issues, and the issue seems to have grown or become more noticeable to me over time.---These guys have great, deep bass, while managing to also sound great across the range. They sound good on anything, including my cell phone. They are also good at privacy as they don't leak much - I can listen to loud music in bed without disturbing the wife.I got the blue/red combo to make sure nobody would want to steal them. Yeah they're fugly but I never have to look for that little R or L in the dark again! They can be a bit fiddly to wear and size the tips. Take your time on this and don't judge right away. I ended up using the largest foam tips, as that seems to create the best seal - and a good seal is important for the best sound. I first tried the large silicone tips and found there was very little bass due to a lack of a good seal. The N.E.R.D. song 'Lemon' has some very, very low bass hits that some headphones hide completely. Not these guys, they go LOW.If I had a criticism, I guess it could be that the midrange may lack in detail or maybe feels a bit compressed/fuzzy at times. But this is compared to more expensive full size cans (K7XX and M1060's). I suck at reviewing headphones anyway so try them for yourself. They're very good, especially for a hundy! That's lunch money! (ok, dinner money)

Worth every penny
[Great sound, great build quality, and a ridiculous number of ear tips]To my untrained ear, the sound punches way above its price range. I've owned IEMs where the highs were too shrill or the bass drowned everything out. Not these. I haven't had issues with any genre.I've owned IEMs that broke with low to moderate use. Not these. My clumsy self accidentally sat on these a few times and they're still going strong. (This is actually what prompted me to write this review today)These come with a case and a lot, and I mean a lot, of ear tips (mostly silicone, a few foam). I spent maybe a week going through every single one to see what worked best for my ears. Having options is always a plus. Also, I'm not sure why they don't have pictures of the braided wire in the product pictures. It's gorgeous.I can't think of any cons at the moment, but I'll be sure to update this review if I do.Edit: The wire by the jack started fraying almost a year in, which caused the sound to cut out in both ears. Customer service was responsive and sent over a spare wire since it was under warranty.
