I bought this tablet for my 10 year old son who is REALLY hard on things. He has broken a couple of tablets even in protective cases just by playing rough or dropping them. This tablet is super tough, I don’t think he could break it if he tried! It is a little bit heavy, but that is probably just because it is made of such sturdy materials. This tablet is also really great for his games, it has lots of storage which is awesome, with his old tablet he would have to sometimes delete games he didn’t play as much to make room for new ones. This one has lots of memory and he loves being able to download lots of games on it. The speed is excellent, which is really important for playing action type games, and the graphics are crisp and clean. He has had no issues with glitches or lagging. This is a terrific tablet and I am really pleased with my purchase.

I had nothing but problems with OKUITEL, I stuck with them only out of loyalty because I had been purchasing products from them for the past 5 years, two cell phones, three tablets, and each time I've always had to return the item and get it replaced. I am using the HOTWAVE to produce this message, use it every single day and literally every waking hour, that's what I bought it for. I had no idea, I judged it by its name, my fault. Honestly, I would not leave this review if I did not have so much respect for phablets ( cell phones that are in the form of a tablet ) and they deserve my review.I have had not a single problem with this phablet, the standby time, is just about perfect, the only thing that I would say is the signal reception may not be the best but it's not the worst either, and it's not a downer. I purchased this tablet because I like being able to see everything, and if I expand it I like to be able to expand it to what I choose and not the limitations of some little 7-inch screen or 6.5 or 5.6 or whatever the dimensions of are these pieces of junk cell phones. I'm even able to connect an external hard drive if I should choose, just found that out the other day.If you're thinking about a tablet that can handle movies, I do watch movies on this unit all the time, I want YouTube when I am being driven by taxi or over long distances. Does it do what it says it's going to do, the answer is yes, is it heavy, I have osteo arthritis, and yes it has a weight to it, but that's because of the battery, but it's not inconvenient at all. At least not for me. I can't speak for myself, if I was 85 years old and weighing 110 lb, then this would probably not be the ideal phone for such a person, but if you are looking for an extra battery life phone, I don't know anything else to tell you but the following: I've never owned this model before, this is the first one that I've owned, I've only had it for a couple of months, I've had not a single problem with it, yes it has dropped at least twice, not proud to say, but absolutely no damage, no flickering screen, it has worked as expected. That's my two cents anyway

As others have said, this tablet is heavy. It is also thicc-THICK. I have a bedside tablet stand that has held other huge tablets, but it still can't grip this one. The big black case can be cumbersome, but I'm sure most people will find the bbc has a nice look. After installing the strap that was included, I simply slide that over the back of the stand and the problem is solved. The tablet has 8gb of ram, not 16, not 32, but if you go into settings there is a virtual ram mode that lets you use 8gb of your 256gb storage as memory for a total of "16 gb of RAM". This page is very confusing and it is hard to tell if you are getting 32gb or at worst 16gb, then the device shows up and clearly is 8gb; really disappointing. It still works well with the 8gb and I'm here for the durability so I let it slide. It starts off in desktop mode and I was so frustrated figuring it out I was ready to return it. If you look up "turn off desktop mode android" it will likely save you a lot of headache. I like having an app drawer to squirrel away apps I barely use, but still want available. Desktop mode forces you to have pages where you cannot remove them. You will also likely want to turn off "app suggestions" for your app tray at the bottom of the screen. I won't be using the phone feature of this tablet, so I wanted to remove the phone and messaging icons and the tablet would keep putting them back or replacing them with apps I wanted even less like "youtube kids". Eventually I was just juggling apps I didn't want and it was VERY frustrating. But turning off those 2 "features" fixed everything. I'm overall happy with the tablet, when copying over data from my pixel phone during setup I was pleasantly surprised that the pixel battery was low, but when connected the tablet started charging it right out of the box. With the durability of this device, I look forward to years of use, I even showered with it today!
