Sizzix Accessory Die Brush with Magnetic Pickup Tool, Multi-Colour

Proved to be really useful when it's needed.

So this little gadget is sold and advertised as having a useful little "clip on" magnetic stand. It would be great if this little piece actually clipped onto the handle of the brush tool like Sizzix advertises and promotes..... but it doesn't! I have tried numerous times, I've had my partner try, I've had random friends try.... it won't clip/snap on and just doesn't ever quite fit on the end of the handle. I now have a gadget which doesn't stand up and a useless little piece of plastic with a magnet in the bottom, which will no doubt be lost at some point because it doesn't fit where it's supposed to. In other words, it's not fit for purpose.On to the rest of the brush tool... ergonomically the design is okay but not nearly as comfortable to hold as I thought it would be. The handle is extremely wide and I find it uncomfortable to hold, especially for more than a few minutes. The brush tool itself works okay, I find a lot of pressure has to be applied to intricate designs to get the bits outs etc. I thought this particular craft tool would be so handy and save me time and effort, but I have to admit all I am is disappointed as I don't feel it's worth the money paid for it.It does leave me wondering if Sizzix should stick with die cutting machines and dies, as clearly they don't seem to do very well on other products. Alternatively, they need to spend more time in the development stage, with careful testing and trials, to ensure their products do what they say they can.

Just my luck to get a broken one. The magnet does not attach due to the defective manufacture of the brush. This was sent from the US, I am shielding so cannot get out to return the item so I rang Sizzix UK. Basically they were unable (or more likely unwilling) to help. So, I now have two basic Sizzix brushes instead of one basic and one snazzy. Not impressed.
