"Here you go, bees," he mumbled, "I think these are more your speed."While it turns out my son's palate isn't quite aligned with the discerning tastes of a honeybee colony, I can confirm these patties are, indeed, incredibly sweet. And if the bees' frantic joy at getting their 'snack' back is any indication, they absolutely adore them! So, if you're a beekeeper looking to give your colony a gourmet treat that's scientifically proven to boost their well-being, these are a buzzing success. My bees can’t tell me if they like them or not. Part of me thinks they don’t, because very little is gone, but then again, they had plenty of sugar water early on and the willow pollen was very heavy for them as well. Brand wise, I’ve always heard positives, so I’ll continue to purchase as needed in my spring apiary!
