I use this as toilet cleaner, laundry additive for deodorizing and softening, washing machine cleaning, dishwasher cleaning, in place of CLR, a bit in a spray bottle with a dollop of dish soap and peroxide as an after-shower spray, as a cleaner in water where you would use vinegar, but you don't have to store a liquid and it is a stronger acid. There are probably some food uses in canning or whatever, but I haven't discovered those yet. You cannot beat the price when you buy it by the bucket. This will be a household staple, even if I only buy it once a year.

Works in dishwasher better than spot free somution and much cheaper.

This is MAGIC for clearing hard water deposits in the dishwasher. My soap dispenser used to get clogged with lime scale and refuse to open during the cycle. I just pour a small pile of this (a few tablespoons) in the bottom corner of my dishwasher, since I don't have an extra soap dispenser. After a few loads, the dishwasher glitters and glows it's so clean. It also leaves the dishes immaculately clean and shiny, seems to boost the detergent's power. Just an amazing product, highly recommended!This is the same product as Lemi-Shine, in a much more affordable bulk package.

Bought this to make some sour candies. The quality and size of the package seemed ok. The texture was as expected. Shipping was fast. It probably would work great for different uses. Not so much for candy

Fantastic, bought this to lower pH for my hydroponics and it worked fantastically for that purpose. 1/8tsp for a liter of water and the pH reduced by a noticeable amount.

Can be used in the water softener salt tank to remove rust when cycled. Same holds true for removing all signs of rust from a toilet tank. Just add to hot water for toilet tank cleaning and add until at the overflow for a few hours.

I bought this citric acid after watching some YouTube videos about cleaning the upper toilet tanks in my bathrooms. I'm in a rural area and use well water so there is no chlorine. Consequently, I get algae growth in the toilet tanks, and it is a chore to keep them clean. I don't like to use a lot of cleaning chemicals that go into the septic system that can disrupt the biological breakdown of the solid waste. I am amazed at how well and easy it works. Very little scrubbing and they have remained algae free since.I also cleaned a couple of old stainless steel insulated coffee mugs I have. The insides were stained black after years of use. I had previously tried soaking them in white vinegar with little cleaning effect. After letting them soak with citric acid inside for a couple of hours and a little scrubbing with a stainless steel scouring pad, they now look like new inside.
