Preventing free radical damage in brain cells. And boosting brain cell longevity.Historically, club moss has been used for the treatment of bruises, strains, swelling, rheumatism, and colds, to relax muscles and tendons, and to improve blood circulation. Because of its anticholinesterase activity, huperzine A, a constituent of the whole plant, has been studied for potential use in treating Alzheimer disease and other CNS disorders; however, there is still insufficient evidence to support its routine use.Huperzine A has been studied at oral dosages of 0.2 to 0.4 mg/day for Alzheimer disease. This product is 400mcg per 12 drops and is the max recommended dose.The biggest concern with this nootropic is its long half life of 10-14 hours and can cumulatively build up which is why it should be used only every 2nd or 3rd day. This has an alcohol base and you can taste alcohol a little bit but you take such a small amount that it's not bad. This is also flavored a bit with mint, but it's not an overwhelming-it's just a hint.The dropper is not marked, but for me it seems like about 1 inch from the bottom is where my dose falls. It's pretty easy to determine that by just practicing dispensing 12 drops until you see where it's consistently falling on the dropper. After doing that, it becomes really easy to pull it up.It's a good dose - I take it because for me it makes me feel better. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, and for me, it seems to help with stiffness and pain a bit.It does make my dreams a bit crazy at times. They just become very vivid.

I have been used products from Absonutrix and found them to be very effective. This Huperzine arrived in a sealed glass bottle with glass bulb syringe. The base is ethanol with stevia and peppermint. The directions call for 12 drops in mouth for 15 seconds then swallow. Easy and fast assimilation, more immediate results.Huperzine-A is a cognitive enhancer that inhibits an enzyme that degrades the learning neurotransmitter, acetylcholine; due to this, a relative increase occurs. It increases levels of a chemical called acetylcholine. This seems to help treat diseases that interfere with memory and thinking. People use huperzine A to improve memory and mental function in people with Alzheimer disease or other types of dementia.

Could not use. Bottle was delivered broken and all liquid was poured within the package.

Unfortunately, this came broken. And the whole package was wet, inside and out.

This tastes very strong but it is tolerable. I have been taking it for about a month now and I have not noticed any effects at all. I am not in any medical field but please check with your physician before trying any new supplements.
