Simple installation, looks great
Very happy with this purchase.I watched the installation video on YT, and feel like it made the installation seem more complicated than it is.Disassemble the old remote, and pay attention to the gasket orientation when you do. Place the buttons in the top, and lay the top half face down. Add gasket and PCB.At this point, just lay the bottom half on top to test fit. When you are sure you have everything correctly placed, put the spring in the key release button. If you look at the fob, there is a circle where the spring will fit. Lift the halves of the fob apart just enough to slip the button and spring in, and close the clamshell on it. Done.I put the screws in until they barely started to bind. Not tight, but enough to completely close the clamshell. From there, I tested the key release. It is a little tight, but should loosen over time. I see this as a win anyway, because with only 2k miles of use, I have already accidentally popped out the key and dropped the stock fob.I put the hex wrench back in the small bag that the item came with, and tossed it in the glove box so I always know where it is.

Not the quality I expected
I was very disappointed in this product. I was expecting better craftsmanship. I found that the buttons do not fit well and when I finally got both pieces together, the “button” that releases the hidden key does not work. To took it apart several times and tried to refit it but to now avail. I guess I will have to remove the screws and disassemble it when I need to change the battery. I was already on the fence with the price tag, now I find that it’s just not made well. I cannot recommend.

Got 2. No regrets!Glad it comes with a spot to put the emergency key unlike V2.“Upgraded” from one of the newer editions to this one for that reason. It works well and looks amazing!
