Don't bother with Apple's. Buy this.
A couple years ago, I bought an Apple Pencil. At some point I forgot about it in a drawer. As I found out, this turns it into a doorstop due to the tiny battery, which is not replaceable (including by Apple). If it's out of warranty, you're out of luck. Frankly I find this INSANE, even from Apple. It's literal landfill merchandise, for $100.I didn't feel like blowing another Benjamin on a disposable piece of junk, so I went looking for options and settled on this one. So far I am very pleased. Even if it were priced on-par with the Real McCoy I would still probably buy this one–because I honestly think it's the superior product. Let's see:- Works every bit as well for my usage (mostly handwriting notes). Very pleasant to use, no complaints.- Noticeably lighter and better-balanced. Most people find Apple's offering to be a bit awkward and "top-heavy", and I'm among them. This one really does feel like a pencil- USB-C charging- I could buy *SIX* of these for the same price, and have a few bucks left over- Battery indicator- No pairing/BT dance: tap to wake it up, and it worksDownsides so far:- The plastic is not *quite* as nice as Apple's. It doesn't feel cheap or bad, but it has a slight gloss and is ever so slightly slick by comparison. It's honestly pretty minor, and if I didn't have an Apple Pencil for comparison I wouldn't likely notice- That's really it. I can't speak to longevity yet, but it would be hard to do worseIf Apple had made the battery replaceable and offered to sell me one for a reasonable price, I'd have done it. If I could bring the thing to an Apple Store and pay them to replace the battery, I'd have done that too. They deserve to lose sales for having deliberately engineered something that is so anti-consumer and bad for the environment.

Nice lightweight pen
Nice light weight, love the white color, matches the description. My 9 year old uses this to draw on her ipad using an art app. It's easy to use, accurate and quick. The design is nice and fits great in her hand. It's comfortable to use and has held up great over the last 6 months with almost daily use. Charges quickly and easily.

Great Budget Apple Pencil
Pretty impressed. Charges fast and lasts a long time, I only charge it like once a week. Feels solid in the hand, similar weight and shape to the Apple Pencil. Connects instantly, no Bluetooth needed. Just tap the top to turn it on.Works great for writing notes, highlighting PDFs, and casual drawing. Pressure sensitivity isn’t really there, but palm rejection works fine. No lag. For everyday use, it does the job. No complaints.

No dust cover, but otherwise perfect for the price
(Took off 1 star for no dust cover over charger)I love this pencil. I bought it to replace my old knockoff pencil which was so outdated it was a dupe of the first generation Apple Pencil. It holds an amazing charge and works wonderfully for me as a college student who takes all my notes on my iPad! I got it on sale for about ~10 bucks and it was a great deal for that, it carried me through the last few weeks of the semester (some of the busiest writing times) really well! It was very easy to set up with my iPad and it the writing speed is good, I can’t speak to it in comparison to the Apple version since I don’t own one but I don’t feel the need to spend that much money when this fits all my needs for a fraction of the price. I love that it came with extra pencil nibs, and it’s much comfier to writer with than my last pencil dupe. When very I first tested it out I had some issues with line-skips while writing, but quickly discovered that it doesn’t happen at all if I rest my hand on the screen while writing (which is my natural writhing position anyhow, especially as a lefty) overall, it’s great for the price, I just wish they’d have included a dust cover but luckily I just put it face down in my iPad case when I store it and I’ve had no issues with the charging port getting dirty so far because I do that. Fits perfect in both of my different iPad cases’ pencil slots.

Confirmed: Works on the new iPad mini A17! Love it so far!
I can confirm, at least for now, lol, this pencil works on the new 2024 iPad Mini A17.I’ve seen reviews that say it dies after a few days or weeks, and if that’s the case I will update my review accordingly. But for now it feels good, it’s a lot lighter than the official pencil, but it’s just as responsive for my needs and it comes in black!!! Why spend $80 when I can get this for 1/4 of the price and it’s just as good??I am not an artist or a writer, I’m a student pilot and got this so I could jot down notes in the cockpit without having to pull out a real pen and paper, since I’m already using my iPad to navigate.

Quality without compromise
Amazing! Immediately synced up and wrote smoothly with no skipping. Pleasantly surprised for the price! Debating getting it as I already have an Apple Pencil 1st gen, but I love this wayyy more. The in hand feel with the flat side just feels more like a true pencil to me. Quality without breaking the bank.
