It supports me, and when I say support, I mean it cradles me. I feel very secure, and not like I'm going to flip over if I move too much. It is super cute, and I'm able to lay my head back on the "tail".All of this is hard to come by for someone over 6 feet tall and over 250lbs.Invest in this, you won't be disappointed -- and don't worry about drying, just pull it out of the pool at night and drape it over a chair, flip it at some point, and by the next day it will be dry.

Best tool floats ever. I will never buy a blow-up pool float again. I have 4 of them in different animals from this brand and they have lasted through 2 summers - I do store them out of the sun. I hang them out on the clothesline after the grandkids use them in the pool. They dry quickly and don't have to worry about punctures. Great product.
