This is amazing. I think I’ve used it daily since I got it. My only complaint is I need more of them now that my kids have discovered how amazing it is! The weight is perfect and the softness is perfect. Sometimes I don’t even turn it on but it still provides the warmth and soothing for perfect comfort. It’s so functional. I leave it doubled over on my bed but can unfold to share anytime. It stays clean and doesn’t shed either which is so nice. One more thing to clean is definitely not what I need. This is the perfect gift for a cold-natured spouse.

Even a timer setting allows it to shut off automatically after a number of hourly increments. Washing is recommended before use so you don’t have any light fabric shedding but I’d recommend washing any blanket before the first use anyway. Wash it using directions provided and tumble dry low. Tried the Homemade heated blanket to stay warm. It arrived well-packaged, felt soft, and was easy to set up. Heats quickly with multiple temperature settings and a convenient auto shut-off. Great for cozy nights and relieving muscle pain. Easy to clean and feels durable after weeks of use. Fast heating, soft material, safety features. May the cord placement could be better. I also like that you can set the heat level, as well as a timer on it.The only con I can see is the length of the cable. However, if you're on the sofa or ready for bed, there should be an outlet nearby. The cable does feel a bit light and can be snagged out of the outlet, but given the lightweight nature of the blanket, that might be a plus.I actually purchased this blanket for my cat - she had a bad habit of climbing behind my gaming console to nuzzle up by the exhaust vents, definitely attracted to the hot air. While back there, she would gnaw on the cables. She obviously wanted to lay on something warm. She now loves to snuggle up to this always-warm fluffy cloud of a blanket and bird-watch.

Blanket is on par with similar items. It is 2 pieces of fabric with a wire running in it. It works well if placed between other blankets. I ended up returning it because I'm sensitive to fabric feel and the white fuzzy part felt a little weird and grabby on my fingers. Not the worst feeling but I'm super sensitive to it. The grey fabric was nice and soft and felt great.
