Great mechanic's belt
It's better to not take the chance of scraping a belt buckle against someone's car and wrecking their paint. While these are a bit pricey, they are comfortable, very well made, and the Velcro has remained strong for months on end. No complaints.

Easy, comfortable & versatile
This is the best belt I’ve ever owned. I’ve had about every kind you can think of.A couple months ago I started working at a place where I can’t wear anything that might scratch what I’m working around. In the past I’ve had standard mechanics belts because of a skin sensitivity to the buckles. They only last a couple months before the holes get stretched out and the hook stops holding. The Velcro on this is fast, easy and holds well. Not only that, you can tighten or loosen it quickly depending on what you’re doing. It fits on different clothing too. Some materials are thicker or thinner and belts with a fixed loop wear differently. This one solves all the problems and gets 5 stars from me.

Exactly what I was looking for
A family member with dementia had forgotten how to buckle his belt. He is of the generation that you always wore a belt and was very distressed that he couldn't "work" his anymore. This belt was a life-saver. Despite limited mobility and a bit of arthritis in his hands, he took to this immediately. He said it reminded him of his uniform belt and he wore it with pride! The sizing was exactly as mentioned in the sizing guide -- you will want to double check that before ordering. He kept it simple with no additional loops besides the velcro and the belt loops on his pants, so there were some times that he had to search for the "start" of it to take it off as it has slid around to the side rather than the front. However, even he said it was better and faster than trying to figure out how he had buckled the "buckle belt".

The square end catches on my belt loops.
I really wish both ends of this were rounded like my old velcro work belt (which is currently too small because I am pregnant). Other than that, this seems fairly durable, thickness and sturdiness seems good, and I do love being able to adjust this to any width anytime because of the flexibility that velcro catch gives. I would recommend making the hooks (sticky part) be on the outer piece instead of the inner piece because where they currently are, on the inner piece, means that the Velcro catches my shirt, other clothing, jackets, and more, destroying it. It is very annoying.

Fits well, comfortable, no buckle pain
Bought this belt for my son. He usually wears a similar belt from Duluth that costs substantially more than this belt. My son lost weight and his belt no longer fit. Tried this belt from Amazon because it has Velcro instead of a buckle that digs into the skin. Belt is leather. Son says this belt is comfortable, fits great, just as nice as the costlier belt. He has been wearing it daily for a couple of months with no signs of abnormal wear. He wants more belts in other colors.

Junk velcro belt.
There are mechanic belts that have the hidden internal buckle. This isn't one of them. This is a VELCRO!!!BUCKLE THAT CANT BE TIGHTENED VERY TIGHT. I like my belts tight. I've had the same belt from SnapOn for 33 years. I've had to modify ot a little because the metal internal buckle, but the belt is still like new. These piece of crap belts won't last a year. Maybe the leather (if it's real leather?) Will, but that cheap velcro crap will not last a mechanic a year. I guarantee all those positive reviews are manufactured. An automotive technician wouldn't use this junk
